will players having diffrent platforms will be able to play together ? do u even plan make other platforms than pc ?
Not sure about the answer for the first question (probably not) but as for the second one, They are going to release it on next gen consoles Link to the FAQ: http://www.eternalcrusade.com/faq Says it at the very bottom
yes that is correct, we are planning on releasing on PC. next gen consoles will depend on the deals sony and microsoft would make us.
Heh, you know how cross-play tends to go. Console players won't stand a chance against players with a PC (or with other words: with keyboard and mouse). So, yes, please, give me cross-play, but mark them properly, so that I don't add them accidently to my Squads ; )
i would say that depends entirely on the structure of the game controls, and how fast paced the combat system is.
well yes and no - our gameplay already has shown a huge advantage in melee combat for controllers, the mouse/keyboard combination is better at ranged combat - and then again, it's only partly about skill, we don't have the rpg system completed yet, so things might turn or balance out way more... and then again - we are not aiming for making war balanced - we are making a game to be fun!
That is what I love about this game, any true 40k fan would understand there has never been balance in war. One side will always get the upper hand over the other side.
If you make a deal with Sony but not with Microsoft will the game still come to Sony or does both parties have to agree for the game to move forward on console?
maybe I should open an extra threat.... but if you are going to implement EC for consoles are you going to support controllers on pc then?
