Hmm, I think you may be right but I dunno how new players will learn this, I mean they will think I need the 30k box weapons to fairly compete with lvl 6 players...
I just started with the game this week; you have no hope as a lvl 1. Combined with the queue times, i may give it a few more days and then im done. I am not grinding out the gear required to be minimally competitive(who wants to wait 45 min or longer to just be free kills), nor giving them cash to do so. Outside its horrible peer to peer issues, it seems SM had a better progression and unlock system. Just another in a long list of GW game letdowns.
i just dont get why they don't just copy OG battlefront 2 just let me play the game i dont want to grind its not fun i can tolerate the way that you get guns and shit but the hole lv up and shit its just a waste of my time since there is only like 10 or so things that you actually want
You don't need gear to do well in this game, I frequently delete one of my slots and re-roll just for the fun of doing it all again and do pretty well, even take out a vet or 2 if I put my mind to it.
I found with a bit of experince at level 1, its best to play a heavy weapon support or healer role until you earn enough Exp to start specialising in something. Supressing and healing can net you some decent exp in the beginning. Healing especially plus team mates will thank you more for it.
We might just need better tutorials. I'm wondering how many new players know where the garrison is. Plus, text reading during tutorials is a massive turn off for most people. Something structured with VO is better. Yes, that's very resource heavy, but we need something, mostly so we can tell the newer LSM players that they can't absorb all the enemy bullets with their faces. Also, maybe get rid of the supply crates and let us buy the mods we want, rather than being given them at random. If new players actually had the means to kit themselves out with the classes they want to play as, they might stand a better chance (and I find the whole thing annoying. Just give me a mod for the Heavy classes already! I don't want yet another Force Sword mod damn it!)
You should have the option to pay rtc for a max rank character It might bring in some cash from xenos who want to rank up where you might get lucky to get 1 or 2 games in per week
