i think it would be good to see a council of the space marine chapter master's (leaders of guilds larger than 15 or so people) meet about once a week to organize and plane to take strong hold and territory's because if we can organize and deploy larger amounts of our brothers quickly with a stratigic reason behind the assaults we launch.. then this planet will fall along side any other's we may face.
In this campaign we will not stand as individual chapters....nor glory huggers..,our armour colors mean nothing to the fall of darkness that seeks to destroy everything the emperor holds dear! No! in this battle....in times like this we will all stand shoulder to shoulder! soo look to the brothers standing with you! honor them as our bolters and chainswords clash against the alien and heretical tide! for we are astartes the angels of death! and we fight as one! got a bit over zealot over there.
So i would love to to lead a strike force or a chapter or what ever we are going to call the smaller groups of marines but how do you all think we will be able to control and wrangle the glory hounds and lazy marines? To clarify on the first part of this i want to lead no more then fifty for the strike force but the team would have capture missions.
Strike forces at this moment in development consist of 100 players, 10x10 man squads. To control groups of this size takes a lot of organization, leadership is a skill. You have to balance yourself on motiving people and making sure they do the correct job properly, also the most important aspect IMO when leading in games is making sure people are having fun. Anyone who thinks they can just walk into a leadership role and lead 100 people with ease are going get a shock. You need to set up a structured command so you can issue different layers of orders. This helps your strikeforce become flexible and organized when attacking objetives.
I'm seeing a lot about guilds on here and how several already have beefy rosters. Yet I haven't seen any sign-ups what so ever. Am I not looking hard enough? I'm also not sure how guilds interact with chapters. Are guilds capable of being comprised of members from a range of chapters or are they limited? I would be interested in joining a Space-Wolf guild if possible. I would also prefer that said guild be limited to one chapter. If there is such an option, perhaps no such singularly focused guild yet exists. Any info to help me out here?
Each player guild organizes however they prefer. For example Valraks Vigilia Mortis recruits all four space marine chapters into theyre guild, where as my guild is only for Ultramarines. Head on over to the recruitment section and take a gander at the space wolf clans there. Contact theyre leaders and see which one you prefer.
