Astartes need the option to wear lipstick.
  2. This is so cool! I hope to see this kind of thing extended to vehicle. And I hope it is possible to have individuality among the troops on the battlefield

Are face mask and helmet separate? I kinda want to put a Corvus beak in a Mk.5 studded helmet also being able to get the bonuses of a helmet without needing to cover your face would be nice.

About the Eldar, as far as I know, aren't they usually shorter than an average sized human? in Dawn of War I the Imperial Guard, when first finding Eldars say "Those are Eldar? I thought they would be taller".

Just wondering, like so many of you, If they will be closer to "humans" in appearance, or more alien, and adding my view on their size, based on my experience on earlier games. I personally prefer the "shorter, slender, alien" version, which includes, besides the already mentioned shorter size, the black eyes, sharp features.

It does make sense to me. Their culture, their appearance, their fighting style, it's all about the agility, the skill at arms. Who tends to that? the slender, agile, thin, and small. The races that have a stronger, more resilient body build hold on to that strength and improve it (Power armor, flak armor, armored infantry...) while the Eldar are different in this manner. They are few and their body structure is not one to resist heavy and powerful strikes. After all, what strike deals less damage? the one parried/blocked or the one dodged? Their fighting style tells all about them: Ambushes, lightning strikes. That explains about how they work, how they exploit their strength and try to avoid their weaknesses, they are not meant to last long, they are not meant to attrition wars, like the Imperium, like the humans.

So what do they rely on, based on the shorter, slender, more fragile body structure?

    Agility, speed, skill at arms.

It's my point of view and reasoning to support the opinion that they should be shorter than the average human. After all, isn't it surprising, shocking even, to see such a "small thing" move with such speed, grace, and skill, and cut dozens of strong veteran guardsmen? And that's what the Banshees can do, and the Scorpions.

I've always imagined they're taller than normal humans but shorter than Space Marines
