Corrosion Beam too weak. Channelled several 3-5 seconds on people no where near dead.

Which seems like the perfect reason for a "time" altering spell to give them a mini speed boost for a couple seconds.

It doesn't have to literally be evasion. It can be more armor, CC, etc

First of all; It is called the "Beam of Nurgle's Love", not Rot or Corrosion or something like that. We all know that Papa Nurgle would be unhappy if we said such bad things behind his back, especially since he allowed us to use this powers. You should all be ashamed.
I am not all that serious btw...

I think the beam will be better when it starts doing AoE/Effect spreading to nearby allies, it would be even better if it could somehow counteract enemy heals (be decreasing the healing efficiency).
But then again, it is quite good compared to its only competitor.

Btw, does the debuff beam work on vehicles?
Since that would make it quite a lot better. Anyhow, it would probably get better when the Warlord arrives (and Elites/Heroes), since some of them are rumored to be rather "tough".
  4. I would love a nurgle beam that has an aoe where anytime an ally would get too close it would restart the Dot.

Oh man, we need a living bomb spell. Like, you mark someone and if they die due to the mark they explode and spread the DoT around.

Remember the plague grenades that could wipe out entire armies? Those were fun.

Not as fun as the blackholes in a can grenades, but fun.
  6. I think as a support, the sorcerer is really good at what he does. Very ofensive and good if you are arround a group of 3+ people healing them, helping with your bolt pistol or even using a little bit of corruption (I will not mention the shitty red beam, because is really, really bad).
But I would like him as a nuker, a sorcerer that cast spells around the battlefield and can actually stand alone by himself. For that reasoning I would give him something like a Staff, Mark of Tzeentch, Other accesories that could make the sorcerer a more damaging class than a supportive one (as same as the developers said that the aphotecary could be changed to have other utilies)

Sorcerers bearing the Mark of Tzeentch are set to be more direct damage oriented by game design, sadly for us all the Force Staves are a post launch thing though.
  8. No it does not, I chose the wrong faction when I started up because I liked the symbol and the way the armor looked. Now I am stuck with the red beam... and much to my chagrin, I didn't figure out it did absolutely no damage until recently. I am holding out hope that they give us more offensive viability though, and making do with what I have, albeit not as much as I would like.

Darn. Anyway, you could also try out the other offensive beam.

I wonder if there are anyone who actually use the offensive beams regularly, I know that I usually opt for the Force Sword but still use the "Beam of Nurgle's Love" relatively often.
