By the way: "Goods bought online or overseas If you buy from an Australian-based online seller, you are covered by the consumer guarantees. If you buy from an overseas online seller, you may not be covered by the guarantees. There may also be practical difficulties in obtaining a remedy from an overseas-based seller. Check the terms and conditions of the contract before you buy." source: https://www.accc.gov.au/system/files/Consumer Guarantees A guide for consumers_0.pdf
Well, EC Forum also has you around although you just hop from Thread to Thread insulting people and acting like you know everything even better then the Developers and you are still not banned... so why wouldn't australian law at least have a look into it? Seriously, change your tone dude
No, acting arrogant, passive aggressive and like I know it all helps me RP as Eldar better. You also can't really say that asking a refund after you've been using product for over a year is a sane thing to do. You don't buy a car, pay for it, drive it for a year and then tell you don't want it anymore and ask retailer to take it back and give you full money for it. You don't do that with software either.
Well in these laws are here in case they try to scam someone by forcing them to accept another country laws which doesn't properly protect this kind of product. A lot of countries doesn't have proper laws for de-materialized content. The only thing we could blame on them is the fact they didn't updated steam description and promoted false content during a while (the "They told us on forum/stream that's will not be PS like at the end" doesn't work, every information must be given on the area where you buy the content and there was clear false information there). But in the present case, well there is nothing in your favor due to late reaction. You can be salty about how they chose to evolve their game, but there is nothing else you can do.
I think the legal argument over whether each specific combination of weapon mods constitutes a different "unique, iconic weapon" would be interesting to... hear nothing about because all I'd care to read into is how the overall thing went. Seriously though, EC's advertising is really, really shady as far as deception go. It's like 1 degree shy of outright lies.
