<Maximilian Lionheart> "It would be foolish to directly jump to an alliance while the hatred is strong. If the Lykaions are truly wise and less barbaric than their counter parts from far north, then they will see that we truly only meant good will and that I am ready to put our feuds aside. Despite that I killed a hundred and their leader by myself in the last war that waged, I am certain that with the God-Emperors envoy incoming, they also want to move on. If not for our lord and savior, for whom then? And if they still hate us and want to destroy us. Then we know, that there is no language other than violence that they understand." Maximilian replied and bade him farewell then with a gesture. <Private Talk; once everyone left> (Lordy lordy talk! Nothing to see for your eyes here) <Delphi> + @lord-watchman "Then she was little to no different than my beloved sister here." The younger one giggled, stroking over Richards head as he got all tired and tried to drift into sleep. "I wonder how he will turn out? More of a warrior like Ser Roland and Father? Or more of a man of wisdom and words like grandfather? I am just to excited what sort of man he becomes." Delphi tilted her head, thinking of the various scenarios he could become. But then something struck her. "But isn't the story between Geoffrey and Freya similar to our parents? I mean, I know that of course. But... Wouldn't that mean that the other vassals would hate us due to our Kharonis blood? Is that why we have no spouse yet, Helga?" Delphi was never much of a thinker, politician or one who would think of the future, but rather a girl who lived in the here and now. Though one should not underestimate her, the knowledge of the littlest opinions and facts of others she learns through conversation are saved like written down in books, and her head being a library of such. <Tavern> <Guardsmen> "Y-y-yes sir!" They answered, and did as asked of them. They looked at the various men and perhaps quickly counted the corpses before marching off. Of course as they walked they whispered of the various things that could have happened.
"dear sister, i will not take a spouse untill one comes and proves to be stronger than me or stronger than uchia" as she spoke she then laughed "i can see him being a great politition when he grows up, perhaps the perfect milatery general if me and uchia train him"
<Delphi> "Given Ser Rolands age, it is very likely that you or brother have to train him. Though I wonder why you must be so unromantic. You always see only the flames of war, only the clashing of steel. We are women, Xalia. Supposed to be pretty and give birth to many healthy children, and of course have the right manners and etiquette of how to converse. Because we are civilized enough to solve problems with words, not with the blade. You are like a girl that was supposed to be a boy." The younger sister smiled as she said this, after all both knew the opinion and style of one another, therefor it was nothing new.
"its more when i was young i was facinated watching uchia train so i decided if he could do it so could i" as she spoke she chuckled "trust me if i was the same as you we would clash and steal each others clothes dear sister"
<Delphi> "I suppose." She shrugged. "At least I don't have to worry about wearing the same appeal like you, lovely sister." Delphi smiled bright and embraced her warrior-princess-sister in a hug.
Rats found their way thought the dark streets towards their "base" quick enough. Not much of a base really, just some stables with enough hay to serve as good beds. Stabber went off to go through stuff of their fallen comrades, looking to salvage anything valuable while Lambert took the first watch. All the while Lin was busy stretching out and cleaning herself of stale blood. Hopefully, tomorrow her employer might have some idea where to use her skills next, but tonight, she will relax. (OOC inb4 Urian once again ruins the good mood by suddenly, ninjas!)
<Lin's Rats HQ> "So you got your asses kicked?" A voice asked, a very young one in fact. Perhaps from a boy teen of an age of 14? He popped out of a hay ball. "Perhaps you should pick a better job than mercenary if you suck at it."
"It's called being assassin and sticking your neck where others wouldn't stick their servant's pajama," Lin turned to the sound of the new voice, "And as you see,I'm still living and breathing. So who might you be, not the stable boy I hope?"
"It seems so.... Good bye ladies, maybe one of you might find a lord worthy of your company at the tournament." Uchiha said before giving a wink and following his stepmother. When he did catch up to her, he whispered a reply and walked off. <Where the fam be> Uchiha came to see if the rest of the family been with his little brother. Luckily enough they were. He saw Delphi with Richard and Xalia talking nonsense. "The boy will become what ever he wants, because he has the blood of the Lion and member of a pride that protects its own" Uchiha barked. His tone was aggressive, he hated when people predicted others path. It encouraged them to make it true. He would be sure that the boy will do what he pleases and not be pressured by anyone. "You two, your mother request you to help her. You know she loves to make Blutdurst Tea perfect for our Father. So get a move one and Helga keep watch of the boy, if you need anything the Guard outside will take care of it. I dont know who is among so many guests, so stay here.". Uchiha moved out of the room to go attend some other matters.
<???> "Stable boy, yeah right!" He laughed and stepped out of it, brushing the hay off. "I am a no noble, neither am I small folk. But who I am is not important. You should go to the Great Hall and demand to speak with Antonio Emanuel Carista Avilian de Vergara and nobody else. Present this." He threw a coin over to Lin, it had a symbol of said family on it. "He is going with a delegation to the realm of the Lykaions, simply make sure he succeeds and that you get entrance to Mount Lykaion. You are expected there." And with that the weird teenager walked out. <Delphi> "As you command your lordship." Delphi bowed over dramatically to Uchiha and walked off. "Rest well little Richard, and don't trouble Helga so much." And with that she marched off with a smile, despite the knowledge of what the Blutdurst Tea meant.
