He nodded graciously to the Lord, "Of course M'lord. We will also be adding medicines to the shipments as well. And of course stock piling additional medical supplies in the Forts of your choosing. I figure if we stick early and often it will be a good shaping operation for future success." He was greatful for the trust the Lord of Lions had in him and as such was more than eager to offer goods that would help in the war efforts without being asked. He sat back and listened to the strategic talks that were about to commence. It would be a learning experience for the Trader to be part of. Plus it may give him more opportunities or new angles to approach his own craft!
Though not exatly sneaking, Taku began walking slowly towards the tent, making sure to couse little sound, not using is oak staff at the moment as he closed near the tent, what could be happening here, maybe gossip, or possibly something far more nefarius. Though he did decide that he dident need to consult his powers for this.
<Guttenberg Tents> -Overhearing talk- "We are going through this tonight, we are going to make a fortune and leave the Lionhearts behind! The Wolves will pay good coin for her. And what does it matter? At point eleven, so in less than a minute, they are going to grab Delphi Lionheart. She is only with her friends, no soldier there to save her. So you better help covering it all up, or I kill you right here and now. So what is the choice?" A deep voice announced, the other individual whimpering, perhaps just a child. "A-A-Alright. I won't tell anyone!" He promised, but apparently the word was not enough. Coughing could be heard as the young one was choked. "Too bad I can't trust you."
after a short time of consideration, the ser entered the tent, it would be too long to get guards of anything of the matter, and he could handle himself, "I demand to know whats going on here," He said extra loudly, hoping even more might hear him.
<Guttenberg Tents> The boy was dropped from the man. He was perhaps in his mid 30's. "Nothing you will be able to talk about." He drew his sword and walked up to the intruder, determined to kill him. The boy was unconscious, but the sage could feel his soul was still within the body. <Tavern Fight - + @Colapse > "Fools." The Assassins said in unison, only one of the half dozen died so far. Five of them were busy with the rest of Lin's group while one detached and ran through the tavern, jumped on a table and boosted itself through the window, swinging around a wooden support beam and kicking one of the patrol guards to the ground, ramming the assassin knife into the throat of another guard, then also quickly the one on the ground. So the reinforcements got reduced from five to three.
"Are you stupid enough to threaten a sage, drop your weapon, and i might let you live," Taku said with aristocratic selfcomfidence, though he did place his staff on the ground and tense himself, using his given powers where allways a draining affair when needed, and perhaps this wouldn't be one of them.
"The plan is already underway, there is nothing you can do." And yes the man was stupid enough to fight a Sage, he started running toward the man, both hands on his blade, intending to swing it diagonally to slice him apart. <Lady Lionheart; @Casavay > Suddenly the little Richard started crying, and the mother already knew why as a sudden image of her second daughter popped into her mind...
The sage raised his hand at the advancing warrior, and send forth a blast of kenetic energi to blast him in the chest, using his staff for sturdy grounding, "FOOL," He exclaimed as he blasted the traitors dog.
Lin got to the knife and in a supreme show of grace, she threw it at the closest attacker. What was supposed to be a perfect kill turned out to be a miss, as the enemy managed to dodge it. "A miss?" Lambert laughed back as he and Stabber were busy trying to catch one of the enemies, the wretch able to keep up with them almost without an effort. "Aye, a fucking miss, guess the gods heard you babbling couple of moments ago and decided to send us one big "fuck you!"," the girl smiled as she pulled out a short sword from her back scarbard and held it expertly. "Lets see how you dance!" She moved in and the assassin met her slash with a parry of his own. One parry, then another and another. "Quite lovely," girl spat as she twisted in circles, like a whirlwind, pushing the man on the defense. He kept on defending himself until he saw an opening and thrust forward, only to realize at the last possible moment that it was a trap. Blood burst from the stump of his arm as he reeled back from the pain, only to be eviscerated by the following strike. It was a dirty kill, intent on making a statement, not only slaying the foe. As she stepped aside, she saw two of her men died beneath enemy blades. "Rats, circle of blades!" she ordered and they listened, the remaining eight standing shoulder to shoulder in the middle of the tavern, the ancient art of battle employed even now. Although at one point newcomers arrived and Lin gave them a sidewards glance, especially after hearing the words of one particular young knight. "Hey pretty boy (@Donairian ), stop talking an join the party!"
Easily the man was blasted away, rammed against the center pole of the tent and rendered unconscious from the psychic power alone, or perhaps it was the impact, given that the men bled from the back of his head.
