"Ah...we have already discussed that Lord Samuel.Of course! You shall be vital to the security of the expedition."nodded young man in acknowledgement, remembering of his previous conversation. The lack of faith that Lord Maximilian had in him hurt him deeply, despite the reasonable argument. He added turning to the lord. "Well..my Lord if you wish to choose another,so be it.But i concur with you, fresh face with the Wolves might breathe in a fresh breeze of political change."spoke Antonio, hurt all over his face. "Pardon me Lady...i do not know of you and you wear no sigils except Lionhearth one..."trailed young man, watching Lin and her....curious behavior.Foreigner eyed suspiciously Samauel, trying to figure out if she was his cousin...mistress?Tho he didnt wanted to speculate out loud, lest he offends.
OOC I almost forgot lol The girl turned her attention on Antonio, giving him a wicked smile. "Oh, you flatterer! Nobody called me a lady in a long time," ever smiling she shook the hands with De Vergara man, who afterwards would notice that he had a special coin in his hand with the symbol of his family on it. "My name is Lin and I would love to go on a journey with you!"
Samuel had intended a word with the gang leader but the young scholar had interrupted his intention, he sighed as he turned to exit the room, he would inquire into the girls intentions later when he had the proper chance. in the meantime he was going to make the most of the remainder of the night while he can and hopefully shake off some of the pent up anxiety he was having regarding the grand generals plan.
Antonio shook his hand with this...Lin girl.It wasnt as if he offered hand to her,as she took his hand and shook it.Feeling something in his palm,Antonio opened to find a small golden coin with a sun emblazoned on it.Above it was inscribed "Sunspear" and below it,the family motto:"Knowledge is power." Young man smiled at the memory and the irony that the memory carried.Few years have passed since he used Southerner currency. "I didnt realize these were still in circulation, finding that Sunspear`s treasury was long ago plundered. But i guess gold is always gold."spoke young man, finally seeing the point in her...gift. "I thank you for this miss...but i do not take bribes. You either speak why you wish to partake in this delegation, which is a peace envoy mind you,or offer a frame of reference from someone else."added young man, sternly, sizing the girl up and down. She sure seemed capable...maybe too much so.She seemed...shady,for a lack of a better word.
<Hildegard Heinrich> "THERE YOU ARE SAMUEL!" The more than angry stomping woman exclaimed, marching up to him. "Since your dear brother is too busy and the Lord of our House went to bed, it seems only you are left to defend my honor! That, that.... That fool and brute!" She stomped in anger again on the floor. "I asked for cousin Marshals hand, even was ready to bed with him and then he tells me that he is going on a delegation to the Wolves and will look for a husband for me there! He rather sends me into the freezing mountains with some barbarians and probably even cannibals than marry him myself! And his forsaken excuse was because of our bloodline! CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?!" Her hands on her hips she demanded a reaction from her nephew.
Seeing his aunt appear outside the room of the delegation had visibly surprised Samuel, for a moment he stalled as he mentally tried to sort out everything that Hildegard had just said. Was this relevant to the delegation he had just offered to join? What was happening with the rest of his family while he had been off doing his own thing? So many questions were flowing through Samuel's mind before he realized for at least a good ten second he had just been standing there looking gormless like a fool, he shook himself as he thought about how to address the situation. Samuel sighed seemed like he wasn't going to get a break tonight no matter what he did, he had just been to the delegation and had volunteered to accompany but his aunts revelation regarding said delegation had seriously complicated matters. What should he say? it was obvious that one way or another the rest of the Heinrichs will find out about his offer to join the mission to the wolves so he decided that rather than delay the inevitable he had to come out with the matter now, his hand had been forced. Otherwise he would run the risk of Hildegard running into the room and finding out herself. slowly and calmly Samuel explained what had happened to his stricken aunt. 'Aunt Hildegard this delegation you were talking about... I had just offered to join it, don't think ill of me because of it I didn't know what was happening with you before this all occurred but maybe you should carefully explain what is happening while we have the opportunity to sort something out. It would be my noble duty to do something about it but currently I am in a very uncomfortable position regarding what i can do, I would look more a fool if I confronted the delegation now after I had offered to help just less than five minutes ago'
<Hildegard Heinrich> "It is not regards the delegation, were you even listening?!" She started, complaining, rolling here eyes. "Marshal Glowstone, my beloved cousin, which I expressed my desire to marry him to, also goes on that delegation to the Wolves. But instead of bedding with me, he said that due to our family bonds he cannot take me as wife and would look for a suitable husband among the Wolves. I want you to bring justice, given that both your brother and your father are apparently too busy to care about me. I don't care if you go to war or protect that convoy! But I cannot let such dishonor stain me as a woman and especially not as a Heinrich!" She put her foot down and grabbed Samuel by both shoulders, looking him intensively in the eyes of his. "That Marshal even dare consider a Lykaion for me! You must punish him in the name of our family, given that there is nothing I can do, I am just a lady nobody cares about it seems. So will you do something about it or just continue to not listen to me, Nephew?"
"Well I did say so earlier - I wish to travel and see the place of Wolf's birth. Perhaps even find a job there. Also, I am quite capable of protecting you if something was to happen. Those natives can be quite aggressive so it would be good for you to remain on the safe side, don't you agree? Don't worry, I ask nothing in return from you. After all, Lord Lionheart is the one who pays for my services so I'll deal with him afterwards. So if his Lordship's reference isn't good enough for you, I don't know what is," Lin answered. This almost looked like bartering for a new job.
Was still slightly confused, he thought he had understood first time but considering the first time he was unsure if she was referencing to the delegation or the Lord glowstone at least now the source of the upset was clear, he had not seen Marshal Glowstone all night however and was confused about where to find him. He took his aunts hands from his shoulders, his eyes had lit up with determination as he agitated himself into a fury. 'Its ok, I will find this worm and punish him for upsetting you, but do you know where he is now?'
<Hildegard Heinrich> "I assume he got a designated guest room here, like most of us vassals, if not I don't know where to look... Thank you Samuel." She hugged him sincerely and kissed him on the cheek. "I will see you for breakfast then." Hildegard walked away, obviously relieved as she cast a smile.
