    Nothing special was said for the Bastard. That means business as usual. He would have to join in on the tournament. Ugh.

    "Damn it!" Uchiha yelled, throwing his chalice on the floor. "Father always does this, using me as a face. I would have never taken this title if I knew it meant that I would have to become a fool for the audience at the stadium!" Uchiha was steaming. He also was slightly jealous that his Father let his sister lead soldiers. In a way it was odd, why would you let one of your mistakes be a public face for your kingdom? But in a way, maybe it was the Lions way of atoning for his sin. Making the child not mocked, but loved in the land. Too bad none of the nobles liked him as much as the peasants.

    (@Uriel1339 Is my orginal mother at the party? Also did Max have an affair with py and had Uchiha or were the together before and split off?)

    @Xaphen

    "As Champion of House Lionheart, it is your sacred duty to represent our house in the great tradition of the Tournament. You are a pitiful fool indeed, but do not make a mockery of the title so sadly wasted on you."

    Pythiaere was furious. First, the damned bastard had made a joke of marriage, then worsened an already festering wound by implying one of her daughters would be one of the heretic aberrants who preferred company of their own gender in romance, and now, of all things, the favoured son, the heir of her husband, the one who Maximilian loved and preferred even before his children with her - despite their Kharonis blood making them vastly superior - bemoaned his rank of the most glorious fighter of the entire family. The woman glared daggers at him, incapable and truly too frightened to do much more.
    "You are blind to the Lord's favour! Blind!"

    Samuel bowed as Ser Roland finished, in his mind he wondered if this plan was really going to go as smooth as the great general had made it out to be but on the other hand he had no reason to doubt Sr Roland's judgement as far as Samuel knew his fathers wishes were being conveyed through him.

    'Thank you grand general you have been of great help, I'll leave now to search for someone from the Vergara family, they should know where the young scholar you speak of is. in the meantime though I shall bid you farewell I have much to do tonight it is probably apt that I get started right away.'

    Heinrich turned to walk back down the stairs from the balcony to where the council was still in full session once again he was free to inquire as he so wished.

    OOC: Given that @High_Adept_Zeth didn't post like he wanted to, I bot because like 95% of players wait for him :p

    "SILENCE!" Antonio finally exclaimed, having decided that fifty individuals gathered around him was too much. "I will make arrangements, therefor I shall go to rest now and will discuss details with individuals tomorrow!" But the plan was rather quickly destroyed as Maximilian apparently marched straight for him, but in reality was after the young leather-dressed woman.

    Given that the sage and the shrine-serf just arrived too and inquired at the Lord, he decided.... "We six shall go back inside and discuss matters. The rest, continue to celebrate, but do not forget to rest." The head of the Lions announced and returned to the inside.

    <Small Council - Maximilian Lionheart>
    It was a small, but fancy decorated room, usually used for internal business, or for the Lord to receive special guests and other delegations that did not require the great table to be prepared.

    "I see word has spread rather quick and I apologize for that, young scholar. But I am rather curious of what the second born of the Heinrichs, the head of a mercenary and a sage may want from you? I personally only came due to certain concerns." It was evident that Maximilian assumed Taku Caos boy was some sort of squire for sages or even his novice, plus that he also heard about the delegation, rather than thinking that he has a possible crime to report.

    "So tell me, what do you three want from the young de Vergara? Or should I rather ask right away, why you want to join his delegation?"
  5. "I am here to report about a conspiritor i found the the Guttenberg tent melord, not for anything trivial, and this young man is a witness to what i both heard and discovered. I do not think this is trivial, but that the plot to kidnap your daughter is of great consern." Taku said, strait to the point.

    <Small Council - Maximilian Lionheart>
    "Well, that was unexpected." Maximilian says honest, his face turning a bit grimmer and darker with each moment, until the man got to the point that his daughter was to be kidnapped. The Lord narrowed his eyes. "Any proof of such thing? Though it would be almost suicide to do it here and now, while the celebrations are going on... You must understand I cannot just claim such serious things against a vassal without any sort of proof. Obviously a witness is a start, but not enough. As token of gratitude though, I shall assign each of my children a couple of guards. I appreciate you coming here, you may take your leave, or stay if you desire and might have interest in the young De Vergaras delegation to the Wolves."

  7. "I was attacked by the conspiritor, after i interupted his attempted murder of this young, and the Guttenburg guards seemed overly reluctant to go get your men, even after i explained that someone had just tried to take my life. Also i dont mind staying, and will also put this young man under my protection, since we are the only witnisses to this conspirasy" Taku said, "and we of the Cao family dont lie, it is a great pride in our family, and perhaps one of our greatest political inhibitors"

    <Maximilian Lionheart - Small Council>
    "I am not assuming you lied, Sage. Though there is nothing we can do, or better said I would do at this time. Yes, they tried. But I won't let them succeed at it and if I find one of them doing a crime, believe me it shall not go unpunished. For your boths safety I suggest to travel with the valiant scholar here. Especially since I am not in the mood for political disputes and tensions, not at this time when a grand-scale war could start at any time. It may seem unfair, but it is to your protection. Also if you succeed, it would do well for the Cao families' reputation." Maximilian threw in, knowing that like every other noble family, they also want to rise higher in rank and perhaps even be recognized as proper house one day with their own castle, rather than just owning a couple of villages and living in a fancy estate.

    Samuel was about to say something but the sage had cut him off talking about conspiracies and the like in the most bewildering manner, considering that his own purpose in the room was of a different nature of what is being currently discussed Samuel elected to remain silent for the time being. In the meantime though he moved a step away from the sage and his mercenary friend in an attempt to quietly let the Vergara lord know that his intentions were different from what seemed to be the current problem at hand.

    <Scholar de Vergara - Small Council>
    The young, handsome scholar was obviously inclined to learn what was going on. A dispute between the Lionhearts and the Guttenebergs, if the de Vergaras could reveal the crime and find evidence, certainly it would do them well. Just why had he to lead the delegation? If he could just stay and investigate to ensure his family would get praises...

    "Oh yes, what is it, young Lord Heinrich?" The man eventually spoke up but soft, shaking his thoughts off, casting a smile across his lips.
