Yep, started in closed beta and bought the collectors edition cause I was super hyped for it. don't regret it but lord could it have been WAY better.
Dont worry, Ive played it for a day and it was really nothing special - infact, it was very boring and tedious, as well as hideous from a graphical standpoint. You havnt missed out on much. It was basically a much worse clone of WoW with a Warhammer coat.
That sounds very similar to what I heard from some people, had a few friends play it for a few months, I think the questing idea was rather fresh then but from what I could tell it didn't really hold up well after the initial few months.
