Huge difference you must have SSD with 120 GB, ofc 500 GB would be prefect but 120 Gb is enough. Without SSD drive you can`t make your computer use resources on maximum. All loading process is moving into SSD , and hard drive is not overloaded , it is very effective like SM second heart.
i only spent about 900 on my pc an it works like charm, if i need better i'll just add upgrades to it and such. but $3200 is crazy!
Yes they are very much needed! On modern computers HD is chocking point after I installed Win8 on ssd speed was glorious
Normal harddrive get the job done. Cutting down the load time from 40 secs to 5 secs doesn't really mean that much. The levels look the same and play the same. To me it is paying more just to cut 30 seconds of waiting.

If you were talking about attaching one to a PS3 or something, I would agree. But a good PC will have a load time of ~20 seconds. It's really not worth the cash.
I'm going to change PC before christmas but does anybody know the specs required for the game (I planned on the minimum of star citizen but I dont know if it will be enough for EC)
