in an interview they said that the might bring out the walkers as a call-in-NPC but since miguel were talking about dreads like we will be able to play them i dont think that they will be NPCs^^
Well, that addresses any potential issue with Wraithlords, but Wraithguards are more akin to other races' Terminators or MANz, so I don't think they'll work through requisition like walkers and vehicles.
Nice newsletter) As I predicted, we still have nearly no concrete info on Eldar) But we have a great reveal picture, my bow to the artist, I have much to learn yet. But it is weird to see Guardian on the picture and to read Dire Avenger in the newsletter. Still, presence of Dire Avengers is a very good news! Also, masterful evasion of the questions on Fast Attack and Melee classes, you bought yourself some time. Good job!) I hope that Dreads and Wraith-constructs will be call-in NPCs. It is just wrong to give such a weapon in a player hands, imo, and considering how slow to react the Wraith warriors are by the lore, they fit for NPCs perfectly. Still, if Wraith warriors and Dreads are to fall to the wrong players' hands, I very much hope they are expensive as a Golden Throne. And with Wraith warriors confirmed in any form, Iyanden is a pretty viable choice for Craftworld, so now we have it. But what to choose, Wild Riders or Swordwind...)))
Wonder why Eldar newsletter is the only one least informative? By color scheme I can guess 3 visible craftworlds are Iyanden, Ulthwe and Sain-hann. Can't guess what the fourth is, both warlock and dark reaper are....dark And as So'kiel said, I also have question in mind about guardian!
Well it would make sense that it's the less informative newsletter, there's much more about the Eldar that they still haven't figured out, and they don't quite fit very well in the "mold" of the other races, so much has to be reworked for them.
i think the reason they included a guardian in the art is to show a craftworlds colours. if they had a dire avenger then they couldn't. but they wanted to let people know they are in the game so they mentioned it in the newsletter itself. im slightly disappointed at the lack of info in regards to some of the bigger questions (spiders or hawks, scorpions or banshees) but So'kiel's probably right, their buying for time.
Although the newsletter was quite exciting, I'm still a bit disappointed in the lack of information compared to the newsletters for the other races.
The devs themselves probably don't know how Eldar progression will work yet. I'm sure we'll get more information as soon as they decide on a system.
