it's gonna drop like a reaper shot and almost no matter what it says exactly half of the sub-forum will be pissed. luckily dark reapers are pretty much confirmed so i have no real need to worry for now.
I honestly hope we won't see Black Templars v.2 . People need to be realistic and understand eldar are by far the hardest race to implement properly in this type of game and we can't have everything ( at first )
I see this the opposite way, I think most of the community will be stoked no matter what it shows =). Glass half-full kind of thing I guess =P.
True, hardest to implement and.....expensive. Devs can use animations from Space Marine for SM, CSM and Orks. But since there is non Eldar, they need to throw more money into mo-cap, design, actors, equipments, etc. I can say Eldar players already more superior than other races, Eldar = big investment here people
That wouldn't be feasible to Ghozland. ^____~ Nor the significant difference in forum participating fan bases. I'm looking forward to the artwork depicting the eldar. More so the essay of developer goodness juxtaposed with the artwork of each newsletter. Hopefully there will be enough concrete reveals to satiate eldar and the rest of the 40k fans for some time.
Well, December is tomorrow, so next Friday seems like a good time. Whether they will have it ready is another question, but I'm certain whatever they release, I'll be happy with... Of course, if they don't implement the Striking Scorpions, I may have to go with torches and pitchforks to Montreal for a merry vacation
I wouldn't stress out on the exact date. I've been a community manager myself, and if I were CM for BEhavior I would've said December to give some leigh way in case things aren't perfect by the desired date. Things can sometimes get pushed back so it's best not to be too anxious about this. And who knows, the "Christmas surprise" might coincide with the newsletter. Also, you have to plan out the date where you know most people will get to see the newsletter, which is optimal any day between Tuesday and Thursday, ideally at an early hour so it's there by the time people check their e-mails in the morning.
This is a 24-hour community, so there isn't really an "early hour"... On the other hand, I am really looking forward to finding out about the Eldar. Then we can stop speculating and have the real deal to talk about...
