Tus Primaris: scan and identify area's suitable for initial colony site.
Ven Primaris: scan and see if ANYTHING of important value is present on this world. Otherwise, ignore until we are feeling brave/suicidal/SHTUPID.
Ven I: scan for the largest initial deposits cuz we're really gonna need materials.
Ven II: same policy as Ven Primaris.

Really, despite everything. I think we are starting out with a pretty fine system. it has only two worlds. both suitable for habitation. Difference being one is terra-like. the other is likely filled with krakens. meaning centralization of operations! We also have only two moons, one rich in minerals. The other is basicly Hoth, only smaller.

I wonder what kind of Deathworld Ven Primaris is?
  4. Fox Vulpas Well-Known Member

IF I may add to that suggestion for the mechnicum to possibly make a forge or possibly small base and space station near the Moons as supply points to tau Primaris, For Ven I Kinda want to know what kinda Death world type of creatures could be down there could be something usefull If I might suggest.

    Water Death world.

    Super sharks or possibly
    Xeno squids.

Also lets check for what possible kinds of life may lay on each world, May want to contact the Ordos xenos if its something new.

@Uriel1339 @Colapse @PorOborosCain perhaps instead of making a third captain, and no one takes that spot, we can do away with the third cruiser and replace it with equally balanced (player responsible) escorts...meaning perhaps X number of either Frigates or destroyers either chosen by you or the players. This would also fill in the gap of fire power from missing a cruiser. While also allowing single ships and their escorts to undertake missions without tying up multiple ships.

    1 battleship with 4 escorts
    1 cruiser with 2 escorts
    1 cruiser with 2 escorts

Perhaps setting specific ship groups to specific regions of the system to patrol, explore, or guard.

I think small lookout contingents on every planet and moon for training and early warning would be wise.

Damn it Uriel...you previously said that the designated world would be situated somewhere on the far-northeren part of the Ultima...that's the only reason why I picked Forge World Lucius as my origin point.

I could have picked Metallica... *sobs*

    It says Water....

I gladly go with that idea.

so if @Colapse and @PorOborosCain agree on this, then go ahead and you peeps pick out your escorts.

I meant what makes it a Deathworld, like is it inhabited by deadly flora and fauna or is it because it has a completely uninhabitable environment?
