OOC: I allow extra-action for sake of being OP.

  2. Dropping the overheated plasma pistol Viserys backhanded the hormagaunt that had injured him, spinning on one foot to slash at another of the tyranids attacking him with his axe.

[OOC: 1H Power Axe: 4 hits on 1 target means 4 potential hits. Also I'm a Blood ANGEL not Drinker.]

Feedback: How is physical combat (kicking/punching/headbutting etc) that doesn't involve weaponry handled?

Invictus tried to fix his heavy bolter and took a few steps back

(Will see if the weapon blows up on me then if you roll 2 1s then)

He turned to see Zuriel's weapon pointed in his direction. He then ducked down and waited for his firing to stop. Titus then got up and continued his assault against the xenos, "No shall escape my wrath!" He brought his hammer around and overhead, he then brought it straight down to crush another one of these little bugs.

OOC: You get also a ranged weapon. I allow the dual Chainsword just because I gotta test dual-wield.

  9. The gaunts had charged him. He grabbed the one who had cut him as it was still in the air, and tossed him back while firing his infernus pistol, before dodging down to try and ram his force sword into the other.

    Positions:
    Front:
    Germaius - 4 Hormagaunts
    Viserys - 4 Hormagaunts
    Titus - 4 Hormagaunts

    Center:
    Invictus Luna
    Zuriel

    Rear:
    De'vaune - 2 Hormagaunts

The remaining Hormagaunts were literally no problem whatsoever after all their kin had already perished. The first horizontal strike got stuck in a Hormagaunt, turning him into a lethal weapon for the second and even third. An uppercut blow to the fourth after the three gaunts were thrown at the side, crushed it's skull entirely. One of the hormagaunts attempted to get up that was piled up, but without mercy, Germaius simply stomped it's head.

OOC: I came to the conclusion although that the weapon does the damage, the enemy is dead and we can pretty much do whatever we want to emote that.

    4 Hormies dead.

The Techmarines' skills in not just un-jamming a weapon, but also aiming defeated all enemies surrounding Titus. A quick 180 degrees turn-around was performed to support the Librarian. But only one successful shot was performed and a Hormagaunt dropped to the floor, before the Assault Cannon jammed once again.

    5 (9) Hormies dead.

The Hormagaunts jumped wildly left and right, letting three swings end in the air. The hormagaunt in front of Viserys stopped and immediately it's head was split in half, however, a hormagaunt from behind ceased the opportunity to strike at him. Viserys anticipated the hits and sidestepped in the final moment, letting the Hormagaunt kill one of it's own.

    2 (11) Hormies dead.

And the Weapon was back in action, the shell having been slapped back into place.

There were no enemies to strike, so instantly he hurried to Viserys' side to support him. The two remaining Hormagaunts stood no chance against the wild Thunderhammer swinging after them, crushing them into pulp.

One of the Hormagaunts was already taken care of by Zuriel. The remaining Hormagaunt truly was pathetic, a simple thrust forward into the very throat of the beast sliced several internal organs and leaving the corpse to decay.

    0 Hormies Left.

The group had a moment to rejoice, take a breath. And recover, perhaps even smith combat plans before the next wave of foes would come.

OOC: Deran & Avenging-Angel both brought the point up of what happens if headbutting, hitting unarmed, etc. Every ranged weapon used as melee weapon becomes a (2) [1] weapon. Also every bodypart is a (2) [1], i.e. headbutting, elbow, knee kick, etc. Melee Attachments like a knife on a las rifle or so will be commonly (3) [1] :)

OOC: Also after some direct feedback, I am testing now 12 sided dice rather than 10, to make crits more rare. That also means that Larraman rule is for now on 9+, rather than 8+.
