    OOC: +1 Data!
Anyway...I am doing it more from the lore-side,as Zuriel has no ambitions on regicide!

Titus placed his hand in the blood that came foreth from his armor. He then smeared it across his helmet and yelled, "Come to me xenos! That I may put my thirst a bay through your deaths!" He cocked his hammer back again as He charged towards the horde. He unleashed it again in a broad swing from right to left, like a scythe to the wheat.

  3. Swapping weapons, putting down the storm bolter and drawing both power axe & plasma pistol, Viserys triggered his jump-pack and leapt into the air, angling his flight to land near his Blood Drinker cousin (@matt23). The Blood Angel swung his axe at a hormagaunt as soon as he touched the ground, stretching out his other arm and firing the charged pistol.
"Come brother, let us fight as though the Legion was still whole!"

[OOC: Plasma Pistol: 2 shots on 2 targets means 1 potential hit each & 1H Power Axe: 4 hits on 1 target means 4 potential hits]

They should make the power axe signal sided, dubble sided axes did exist in medevil combat for a good reason, there impractical for the welder and just add extra wight.

"Get down" as invictus spoke he fired again aiming at the gaunts trying to move around the side of the two in melee

(Ooc fireing 8 shots at 4 targets again

OOC: Insta-feedback. Considering what we're facing I think having a rigid numbers of max targets per weapon is a bit off, maybe have an overflow law? Where if in an appropriate situation where your melee weapon kills its main target any left over attacks go into the next target, and then if that one dies it repeats until all attacks are used up?

Germaius stomped down upon a talon limb currently digging into his left grieve, power axe sweeping down towards its owners head while he quickly drew his hand flamer and began spraying purging promethium fueled flames upon the mob of alien gribblies currently advancing upon he and his kin.

The assault cannon of Zuriel reaped through the enemies, each second shot hitting a target as in between rocks were smashed and the Space Marine fired in a wide arc, however it appeared to malfunction after the last shot and the rotation of the barrel abruptly ended, leaving the weapon extremely jammed. It would require some work until it would work again.

OOC: 6 Hormies down.Weapon Jam (Techmarine will insta-fix it, all others must roll 2d10. If at least one is even, it's success. If both are odd, it's a failure. Critical Failure can end up in bad surprises.)

Fueled by rage, Titus roared and swung his hammer heavy, almost making a whole 360 degrees swing as he picked up all the strength he could collect to crush three (3!) of the overgrown Hormagaunts, however, one of the half-decayed Hormagaunts crushed right into Viserys (@Avenging-Angel ) who stood next to him, letting the body obliterate against his body (2 hits; 3 protection left by armor)

    OOC: 3 Overgrown Hormies down.

After surviving the Hormagaunt, Viserys braced for fighting the actual enemy. The first shot missed totally as a Hormagaunt ducked beneath the plasma, his face appearing to laugh over the attempt. The Blood Drinker attempted another shot, but it was too recent after the first and the Plasma simply cooked in his hand. It wouldn't blow up just yet, but it harmed his armor, that hot it was. (1 hit; 2 protection left by armor)

The axe swung down and split the 'laughing' Hormagaunt's head open, causing it to drop dead and spray brain juice and blood all over the Blood Drinker. Revitalized through this massacre-kill, in pure anger he managed to decapitate an overgrown Hormagaunt that sought for his life and finished a regular one with the overswing.

OOC: 1 (4) Overgrown Hormie down. 2 (8) Regulars down.

The aim was not on Invictus' side, given he perhaps simply intended to be careful to not kill a brother? No matter! two Hormagaunts were casually killed, along with organ-splattering of the two remaining overgrown hormies, no problem for a Devastator to kill some big beasts as they make easier targets!

However, a loud crunch, followed by a growl of his ammunition-feed-backpack indicated that the reload mechanism jammed.

OOC: 2 (10) Regulars Down. 2 (6; All) Overgrown Hormies down. Weapon Jam (Techmarine will insta-fix it, all others must roll 2d10. If at least one is even, it's success. If both are odd, it's a failure. Critical Failure can end up in bad surprises.)

Swinging once. Spine broken. Swinging a second time. Head off. And then with all his strength and a loud roar, a jumping Hormagaunt was completely bisected along it's length, letting two halves of the alien life form drop right and left of Germaius before his Hand Flamer lit up.

The entire tank was emptied in one arc, grilling four Hormagaunts alive.

    OOC: 4 (14) Regulars down. Leaves 14.

Then came the revenge of the xenos! Four jumped on Germaius. Four jumped on Viserys. Four jumped on Titus. The remaining two snuck behind rocks and suddenly emerged both clawing at the Librarian (@BadDo9 )!

Germaius (+0 WL; 2WL) easily withstood the damage, by either blocking or evading the claws, the tips only scratching his chapter's insignia of his shoulder-pad. Viserys (-1 WL; 2WL) had less luck as he already was scratched at. One of the scything talons dug into his left arm, drawing blood from the Blood Drinker. Titus (+0WL; 3WL) danced with the Hormagaunts, but since they really lacked the numbers to overwhelm him, he could simply keep them at bay with his hammer, the few blows they managed only scraped his gauntlets - trying to steal his hammer. However, the Librarian, De'vaune (+0 WL; 1WL) noticed not the Xenos and they clawed wildly at him! One of the talons scraped him rather deep across his check, drawing a good chunk of blood, but his Larraman Cells clotted the wound up and no true damage was done.

OOC: I noticed that in order the AoE works, I need to better describe what exactly is in range, I will try to do that from next combat round on.

OOC: Official verbiage of new melee combat rule:
Melee weapons that target only 1 enemy may cause damage to multiple enemies, if doing more damage than the original target can withstand AND remaining enemies are in melee range.

This new rule also overrides 'AoE' in melee weapons, therefore a Thunderhammer for example won't have AoE attribute anymore.

OOC: And the crits are perhaps a bit too frequent for me, so I might actually change the system to d12 or d20 to make crits (fails & successes) a bit more rare - Opinion would be appreciated.

OOC: Uhhhhh..... I think you are in the wrong thread, unless you desire to join?

Axe flashed again in another quartet of blows to hack apart his four foes looking to flay their being from existence. "FILTH YOU SHANT TOUCH ME!" He would begin using the hand flamer as a bludgeon, clicking the release for its empty canister before going to replace it as soon as he had a quiet moment.

Cursing under his breath for his weapon jam, after clearing his targets he put the weapon down,Servo-arm bearing down on the ponderous heavy weapon. He quickly intoned the Hymn of Reforging.Being a Techmarine, and thus a servant of the Machine God,a simple weapon-jam would not trouble him.

    OOC:
    [Techmarine:unjamming Assault Cannon]
By...'insta fix' do I get an extra-action during this round,or am I joining combat on the next post?

The machine spirit responded well and Zuriel was pleased from the binaric-psalm that echoed from the cannon.
Seeing his brothers wounded, blood of the Primarchs spilled by the lowly xenos,Dark Angel yelled over the vox as he saw Blood Drinker take most wounds in the party:

"Blood Drinker...GET DOWN!"yelled hodded Dark Angel as the Assault Cannon whirled to action at a frightening rate!

OOC:Assault Cannon (12) (6) picking six targets (4 xenos that attack Titus (@matt23 ) and two xenos that attack Librarian (@BadDo9 ).Two hits on each xeno.
Also...OP?Please...only apothecary has the right to be called OP :p
