New RP then will start sometimes within the next 7 days. I will finish this in a meanwhile in narrative (*cough* plot armor *cough*) armor.
The combat intensified only ever more. Another Salamander-Brother dropped to the floor as one of the Splinter Cannons blasted him at full power. Drak'ir was angered enough to unleash his powers once more, this time in the shape of causing that very Cannon-wielding Alien to simply turn into ashes from an instant fire, his limbs and weapon bits flying all across the place, harming several other of it's kin. Germaius, Titus and Viserys and Tavos were further victims of being aimed upon, but evaded most of the shots by sliding across the floor, jumping with jump pack or simply letting the shards fly into shoulder pauldrons while others supported Heavy Fire. The second Dark Lance exploded as Invictus and Zuriel's combined heavy fire easily reaped the group down to only a handful enemies that were now being torn apart by the melee-team. There was no mercy to be found here. Not for the vile xenos, anyway. De'vaune managed to catch up to Drak'ir when the remaining Salamanders finished the foe and the mixed-Astartes team instantly regrouped. They were aware that the team was being just further reduced, further harmed. However, finally the first company was in range. A single lance fired straight upon the bridge from above as the Battle Barge got into position. It reduced all sort of walls into dust, the explosion almost sweeping the fighting Astartes away, would it not be for their heavy Power Armor. While the dust still had to settle down to the earth, the swoop of a Thunderhawk could be heard and by the time the dust and smoke has passed by through an unnatural wind, there suddenly had been standing a Salamander Land Raider. "ONWARD! REINFORCEMENTS HAVE ARRIVED, LET US FINISH THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Drak'ir roared and nobody had to tell the rest twice! The holy machinery of a Land Raider, it's magnificent machine spirit and massive weapons. But surprisingly it was not all too mighty by it's own as the Dark Eldar brought on their heaviest of all machineries, too. Very well the Astartes would had been crushed without the first being deployed. Multiple Pain Engines, all sort of exotic weapons that even the Astartes had difficulties to identify and multiple wall-mounted Shard Cannons being pointed in their direction. The next part of the bridge was required to be taken! There was no going back, only forwards, and all of the Astartes knew as they would either perform an ultimate victory, or utter failure.
