1) TT with codex 3rd edition, Video games, Youtube lore vids. 2) Imperial guard, Ultramarines, Alpha Legion. 3) Silly question, they should all be in hopefully, some as PvE. I don't think Necrons would work to well as a PvP race.
So in request from Brother Zadakiel, I spent the last four hours finding most of my units that I still had in the house and placed them together. I have about double the amount of this in boxes somewhere here as well but most of those are in worst condition than these (Ie. Not even primed) The left is about a quarter of my armored vehicles that are assembled and made from conversion kits, the right is my main army that I use that is fully painted in Afrika Korps colors. Due to the fact many people took offense to seeing Swastikas and Reich's Eagles emblazoned on them, I repainted them a year back to remove them. Some of the vehicles you can still kind of tell where the swastikas were.
now i wanna post a picture of my blood angels. so I will This is what I had painted of my blood angels a few years ago prior to their newest codex. The large black back drop is a custom wooden case i made.
1) Never played tabletop, have some novels, ardent Dawn of War fan, like to browse wikis like the Lexicanum. Also have much contact via 4chan's /tg/ imageboard. 2) Space Marines vs Chaos (especially if Chaos is done right - not as ye olde Saturday Morning cartoon villains, but as Mindfuck Incarnate with a bit of lovecraftian horror thrown in for good measure). I'd also say Orkz, but they always, always are portrayed as mere cannon fodder for the SM/IG. Can't stop GW masturbating to their posterboys, I suppose. 3) See above. Additionally, Orkz fighting (and winning against) Eldar would be very nice - seeing those haughty, elite warriors with highly advanced technology being steamrolled (via Deathrolla if need be) by the Orkz would bring a tear of joy to my eyes. Same with Space Marines.
May wanna read up on Mymeara a bit. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Mymeara However their assumptions were soon proven wrong and the Craftworld had to fight for its very survival against Orks. Hundreds of thousands of Mymearans died in these wars, and the only hope for Mymeara during this time came from Irillyth, the Phoenix Lord of the Shadow Spectres. Through his wisdom the warriors of Mymeara learned how to combine the aspects of stealth, speed, and firepower to decimate their foes and soon set about clearing a safe path through the galaxy for their world-vessel.
TL/DR: Orkz got beaten again? Edit: I mean, it's always like that. Orkz arrive, everything seems terrible, Deus Ex Machine/Mary Sue arrives, Orkz loose.
And billions upon billions of Orkz were killed by the Eldar in return, plus uncountable more after their Prince Charming arrived on the scene. As I've said, at the end of the day, the Orkz were reduced to a tool to show off how badass someone else is again. To the Eldars' defense, this happens all the time with their Avatar of Khaine as well.
Orks are quite often the "classical enemy", like chaos marines. They are quite different from most factions though, since basically as long as they get to a fight, they win their goal, and will come back for some more.
