What is the difference between both?

In stats are the same, and they cost the same points.

Also I think the attack speed is the same also.

One looks like a miniature chainsword on a stick, the other looks like a badass blade?

Chain Choppa does have the same speed as the Choppa Blade i think from my small testing with it which i did in the garrison about an hour ago from typing this, i'd also wager that it may have more reach than the Choppa Blade however i'm not entirely certain of that.(something a couple boyz i knew thought as well but i don't think anyone could confirm)

In the past the Chain the ork weapons ranked from speed to damage was: Choppa blade>Chain Choppa>Choppa Axe/Electrified Choppa Axe>Clubbba/Electrified Clubbba>Power Klaw

it was basically a weapon for those that wanted a lil bit of both what the Blade and Axe were offering, More damage than the blade and a lil faster than the axe, but not AS fast as the blade and not the entire damage of the axe.

now i havn't tried the Clubba yet but seeing it's stats it seems to now be, from lowest to highest damage: Choppa Blade(100 damage), Clubba(107 damage), Choppa axe(117 damage). if this also is in account for spped that mean our choppa is the slowest weapon next to the Klaw we have in our arsenal, not that being slow is terrible as the damage msotly makes up for it but we get that axe in the 5k chest if i recall and by Gork n Mork it's a drastic change when you run the Choppa blade the majority of your games like i do.

@TheMadnesss As far as I'm aware the Clubba's too slow to be of any real use as the last time i visited the UAT it kept the slow attacks it's had for awhile now. It's kind of sad an hillarious (Salarious?) That with the Clubba, you can't counter a Dbash, because by the time you've charged the heavy attack, the Dbash had popped and left you stunned and for the most part dead.

I remember for two glorious days, I could interupt them with my delayed reaction time. Until it was slowed the Electro-Clubba was my go to weapon. Even before the speed before those two days, it was nowhere near as slow as it was now, and was my melee weapon of choice though now like most Ork players its the basic Choppa.

The weapon choices for Orks are almost entirely the Choppa or the Klaw. As a previous Slugga boy. (I'z a goff, wat'd you expect?!) I think the Chain Choppa does have a miniscule reach advantage, as well as cover a little more ground with the attacks. Other than that- is basically exactly the same? I find it weird we don't get a power sword equivalent either. The Burning Choppa, despire bein firey, aint a power weapon.

I did see someone in game say that axe and mace type weapons are garbage now because they got way too slow, to the point you may as well just go all out and take a fist/klaw.

Well before this most recent patch chain choppa did more damage.......but now, they have the exact same stats again.

So, other than soundbites they are the exact same. Some folks think the chainchopper is longer as it visibly does have a longer model, but till I see a hitbox comparions from Devs.....I think that is horseshit.

They are literally just the same weapon. The only difference is how they look.

Which is also horseshit.....they should have left its damage advantage and upped the LP like 20-50 points or something.

The chain choppa is also not a weapon for sneaking around. Because the constant noise it makes, not that i think many people listen for it but still.

Far as I've found the only difference is larger noise level and slightly longer reach. I've heard that the Axe and Klub actually can't have their attacks stopped by knives anymore, though I haven't tried this out as of yet.
