Greetings all! Do any of you have any idea what "size" of crates/boxes that should yield optimum chance of mods for the chainaxe? Thanks in advance!
Do yourself a favor. Buy all the 1k, then all the 5k, all the 12k then all the 30k. The reason you do this is because a box has a chance to draw from all the items in its tier AND any from any previous tiers. So it would suck to get a 1k item from 12k boxes. That being said if I remember correct you get the dmg teeth and the clashing motor from 5k boxes and lifesteal from 12k. I haven't seen a penetrations tooth mod yet but I'm about 6 boxes away from wrapping up the 12ks.
The 30k has a unique Khorne specific chainaxe called the Manslayer that has crazy lifesteal, but what Sephurus said, its best to start from the bottom and work your way upwards to avoid some bullshit drops in high tier boxes.
If you're ok with 100% wasting a ton of your points get the 30k so you can get the 40% lifesteal Manslayer chainaxe. Otherwise go buy all 1k->5k->12k->30k.
Man Slayer has 40% base lifesteal, but is not moddable and remember it has the penetration and damage of a normal chain axe, so is kinda meh on my book, when you can just go with a power weapon, lifesteal is irrelevant if you dont kill fast enough
They now show the lifesteal in the tooltip, they didn't before. I've never been a fan of MoK builds but I'm willing to go out on a limb now that I know it's stats are actually pretty great. I normally use the power maul so I usually would agree, but I'm hesitantly optimistic.
