Actually the MM does drop someone that fast. The heat builds up so fast most of the time that you end up dropping nearly instantly before you see where the heat bar really is just from getting grazed like that it's around 50-60% heat which is a instant down state.
If I had more time, soon, I actually want to test SB and see how many shots it can take from most weapons. This is more of a video done on the spot to feel out the OP, UP or OK levels of shields against enemy fire...so yep the point is to be a sitting duck. Should I do a kill reel with the class and fight back? Does that help me see how strong the shield is on its own? Or is that adding in the regen time when given the opportunity to regen it which can be powerful I think when played by an exceptional player.
What @Dakiaris said. Lascannon wrecks everything as it should be. I wouldn't call 7 shots from a PG without even breaking the shield and not harming you at all solid. I think it was yourself posting that other vid. and Sorcs poison is so slow right now he dies before you do at close range that doesnt help much because you don't get to fire much before you have some melee weapon in your face. Or having to reaload, venting your plasma,..... Also most melee weapons are bound to break before the shield does Running apparently is the go to tacting against SB, as stated by the devs and defended by loyalists and now you laugh and say it doesn't. Kicking the shield also damages your melee weapon (unless they changed that finally) which is beyond stupid. Also stop with your snarky and patronising attitude.

Am I coming across as snarky and patronising to you, sorry if so. I try to be more playful with it if anything. I don't get heated on this stuff so I find our forum jousts more of a sparring session than a deathmatch. Its ok, we have different opinions! As for the bullet points Yeah it definitely does, that was the first time I've ever tried to face tank a Lascannon like that with a shieldbro, I never play them enough for that to occur. 7 Shots looks like it broke the shield and he had a few shots left over to do me some harm, just like in the other video where I dodged the charged blast so technically a plasma gun can drop the shield and probably seriously wound a GA with one overheat. (But I will try to confirm or deny this soon) Sorcs poison is sooooooooo slow, but when I've used it on GAs 1v1 it is amusing since they can't really catch up to me as I kite and apply the poison bypassing the shield. About the close range thing yeah its hard to reload but not impossible! Don't know about that one, probably gotta test that too and see how many shots you get before either breaks Running is good if you put it to work the right way not just running like some of these guys did...unless they were trolling me -_- Kicking damaging the weapon is pretty stupid
Since you're talking about doing a video you should go all out and do a durability test of Shield bro , MoN and a basic tactical with all the weapons. As for me I think I'm finally going to pass out.... at 7:18 am..... yay meds making me have issues sleeping right. Anyway as he said the fun fact is that the shield blocks even when it's not raised as far as I know it doesn't take durability damage while in that state as well but it also doesn't regenerate if shot in that state. Would need to do testing on it just to lazy to do it.... Also overwatch is going to eat my time so won't have any time to do it soon. *edit* read it and had to make what I was saying more clear before passing out... nightmorningthing peeps.
Lol, that wasn't Sbs natural behaviour, they don't stand like stupid but fight, you basically did everything to get killed, hell you could destroy a predator in the same way And still you were doing not bad. Sorry but this vid is laughable, it's got nothing to do with real conditions testing. Besides it has alredy been proved the shield is bugged, talk to PG Emperor.
