Well since space marines have been documented as having different physique sizes many times....I think we should see this in EC! Not sure on having a body slider (not too fussed about that kind of detail...also don't want to see silly proportions), but some preset sizes would be great! What do you think?
Well, it could be something. Unlike when giving an option for tattoos/scars, different sizes for players would actually result in having different heights and variety (although if female characters get their own special size modifier, it usually might as well be standard). It shouldn't be too large scale though, only something you really notice when two are standing next to each other.
I big on characters being customizable I mean what is war 40k with out stuff hanging from you SM armor or having the ability to trade out for different marks of armor, the little details that others wont see unless they interact with you
hm i think that we will have something like masteries in other games maybe there could be a mastery which make you bigger (also hitbox/chance to hit) but provides some extra HP but i think that there shouldnt be an option to make you fakelook bigger but your hitbox would stay the same as small chars
i'm not really worried so much about how it effects combat i'm thinking personalization yeah its one thing to be part of a chapter but SM are not robots and no two people are the same
maybe you got the topic wrong its about size of a character which could be customizeable not about customization in general^^
OP referring to allowing for the customization of the body mass (e.g cuddly vs bodybuilder attributes) of each individual unit not allowing for massive customization options (e.g purple goatee). And yeah I like something in a svelte melee look. Pleeease let me have a chubby elder !!
It could be possible to a limited extent, but the ranges would have to be kept small enough that they all fit inside the same hitbox. For example if your hitbox is |_|, then a character's figure might be able to adjust a little towards \/ or /\, but it would still have to fit inside the |_| box.
