Not sure we will allow you to draw things but if we see that we have the bandwidth for it, we gonna allow people to at least create things out of predefined shapes. So, you might be able to create very distinct scars using a set of basic ones that you rotate and all. But again, these informations about your facial customization would need to be transfered to all players nearby in realtime and it might be too much data to keep the game running smoothly. We will be limited by tech on that one. Don't forget that you will have access to a variety of things to make your character look unique (within a faction's range). About Scars, not sure if these should be given as special rewards though... What do you think?
How about like in fable 1 where you get scars after long periods of fighting. Scars aren't a customization options it's something you get after dozen or hundreds of battles. I would love to see something like that added if possible.
I don't know about you, but I can think of many references where there are physical differences amongst space marines in the lore. See the Space Wolves novella for example. Heagr was a massive fat marine (which was admittedly a rare circumstance), Ragnar Blackmane was stockily built, Torin was a more lean built Space Marine. I'd like to see at least 3 preset body types. Also let us not forget the fact that higher ranking Astartes tend to 'develop' physical attributes. E.g. Logan Grimnar is said to be between Space Marine and Primarch Size! So I think it would be nice to have a very simple body size preset adjustment system on character creation
I didn't say it had to be in realtime it could be the same as getting a medal for fighting in a campaign. Every time you get some type of honor you also get a scar to go with it.
Maybe in times when you are out of combat and unarmored like on a transport ship lobby for you strike force or something where there is not a lot of flashy combat taking place.
Well the commanders normally don't wear helmets, though there are special helmets for them if they choose that still indicates who and what their rank is.
Good, I honestly hate those games where the ones who win are the ones who spend the most amount of money.
