Well if they do want us to show off our own custom face in battle, there better be a headshot bonus for the lucky sharpshooter that has spied a helmet-less fool on the battlefield. BOOM, hur, hur, hur...

No faces, only helmets and armor customization.

So if a whole squad of SMs for example take off their helmets, there'll be a whole squad of identical faces?

I agree. Moreover, i would love to fight helmetless, showing the ennemy eye to eye that I know no fear. So maybe a few faces to choose on and some customization. At least a minimum.

Shape of the body? Ever seen a fat Eldar? Not sure about skin colour too, what with eldar all being pale, and space marines are generally the same skin tone as their chapter home people.

Of course, having an actual face would be good for non-combat situations, like back on the battle barge. Adds that human touch. In battle though... Maybe reserve it for squad leaders.

That's still not a reason to lack facial customisation, there are more than just SMs to consider.

Hey guys! Facial customization: Yes! Amour Customization: Yes! Body? I don't think so... since you will be mostly covered by your armour all the time it is not something we feel is necessary. If we feel the game needs it, we will add it. But for now, we are focusing on the Head (facial traits, hair and skin color, etc.) and the Armour. Is this alright with you?
