Hey folks, so now we are nearly a month after release and the char selection screen doesnt support having more than 4 slots. I dont see a point of having currently more chars and i personally dont have more but i think its one of points bE also screwed up. This issue will "soon" be fixed and i can understand that its currently not on high priority..BUT it wouldnt be an issue if bE would have build it correctly right form the start. I mean, cmon, they build the new char selection screen and its only few months old, so why didnt the make it right. Instead we have now an "issue". I mean slots were sold in the past but hey...who cares that people dont get them now its not a prio right now and currently they arent selling further slots. when i asked nathan on last stream i got this: exactly you add two arrows to switch between the slots...so again why isnt it there from the start when the screen was introduced only few months ago? i think these are things which make the salt pile bigger and bigger...
I am, I hope they add more slots for chars. My son is 8 years old and sometimes he wants to play, I want to have a slot just for him (he tires fast though, cant stay alive for more than a couple of seconds).
Lets ignore the possible rebuild of whole database which probably was build with intention of 4 slots only most likely, even though they knew they'll need more.
Actually, you could just buy additional slots individually. They weren't only tied in with packs. Considering people PAYED for these things, you'd think they'd be a high priority item, or at least refunded. But neither are/have been the case.
My son is 5 and he loves playing EC Orks, though he will drive around in SM tanks too. He loves tanks and trucks, and the environment... so he will spawn an APC and then go for a drive to admire the landscape which is usually no where near the fighting, and the amount of salty comments in his chat about how he is the worst driver ever only makes me laugh. He is so not there to pow pow the enemy and talks to the display saying to stop shooting me dude, and look at those statues, and the damage tanks, and fire... ext. So if he is on your team I feel for ya, but it does make me smile. Wait until they get in game mic working, he is the cutest space marine you ever heard.
