Hey, I'm a huge fan of the upcoming game, and I'm a bit of a derp for not finding out about this game BEFORE when I could've been one of the first "Founders", but that's my fault for paying attention too late. Anyway, I'm just curious if chapter-specific gear will be a thing in this game? For example, a Space Wolf wearing fetishes and furs over his armour, or the Roman-like togas and such for Ultramarines. I sincerely hope this will be implemented, if not at release but at a later date. Thank you for taking the time to read this, as well as for the upcoming replies. PS: Little sad White Scars aren't one of the chapters in this game, haha.
The easy answer- Yes! Chapters will get chapter specific gear. The fun answer- There's plans to give the Ultramarines a gladius, the Space Wolves apothecary is going to be the Wolf Priest (with Crozius Arcanum). Part of the reason there are so few sub-factions per side (sorry White Scars fan) is that there are very real plans to load them up with relevant iconography that matches their chapter. Dark Angels with robes and wings, Blood Angels with gold and wings... On the non-LSM side (you know, all those other people who play the game) CSM are expecting the same level of detail for their sub-factions (although no sub-faction specific class yet) there's a thread about how to include Craftworld affiliation on Aspect warriors (started by a developer to actually garner ideas, it's not just fan speculation) and... I'm not sure what's happening for Orks. But they are Orks, the customization options available to them will probably not be stingy.
In due time more and more sub-factions/chapters will be added, do not be discouraged brother! I really hope that the wolves still get wolf priests, infact I hope all those ideas don't get scrapped!
Slow down there, I can't speak for Bhvr and I don't have anything to back that up. But TT the crozius is a power maul. So before you get Wolf Priests you need that lovely piece of weaponry sorted out. Let's not start seeing, "WOLF PRIEST NEXT WEEK WHITEFOX SAYS SO" cause I'm not saying that. It's a deduction, not a fact.
Oh ofcourse I understand that, but nothing can stop my hype train when I discovered that the Priest's would have the crozius. Hopefully we get that wolf-skull helmet too! Don't worry Whitefox I know your not confirming anything
Gonna be the same as @Whitefox550 here and say don't get too excited now! I doubt more chapters/sub factions will be in for a long time since they still have tons more to do. Maybe post launch but please don't take my word for anything official, that being said I hope everyone gets to play what they want to!
