    Considering how long it takes to get turns done, I'd prefer not to have the Chapter obliterated on turn 3. But that's just me. :p

    The Results:

    Apothecary you will receive what you asked for. Keilos, you will receive all the remaining req, I know its not all that you asked for, but that hasn't stopped you before.

    We board the vessel via thunderhawk. Keilos, Brother chaplain, 2nd captain and Logain |Lib gets a name now| will lead the party, in addition all of 2nd company will be sent into the battle barge.

    The mood has darkened, but nobody questions your orders. 2nd captain may disagree with the nature of collecting artifacts, but everyone else has either accepted it or is as into the idea as yourself.

    First, Logain I want you to see if you can sense what is aboard that vessel, its a long-shot but if it works, it will be well worth it.

    The 4th captain presses his advantage and-

    Result: These traitor marines are veterans, they're smart and crafty. They take out 10 loyal astrates without suffering any casualties themselves.

    The challenge:
    The 4th captain engages in a desperate counter attack resulting in-

    Result: Pushing the traitor back onto the defense, dealing some damage but more importantly regaining his footing

    2nd captain health: 20%
    4th captain health:85%

    Normal Combat:

    result: The librarian cares not for the skill of these veterans he vaporizes 7 of them instantly. He yells out for the rest of the men to go and support the 2nd captain he'll handle the remaining 3 traitors.

    The challenge:
    4th captain sees the sea of men coming at him he tries to finish the second captain off before its to late and-

    He can not move the captain has him right where he wants them and continues the barrage of blows.
    2nd captain health: 20%
    4th captains health : 55%

    Result: The remaining traitors are dead. All ten veterans were slain by the librarian.

    The men have reached 4th captain.

    Everyone cuts the 4th captain off mid sentence and purges him with most holy bolter fire

    All geneseed recovered. Furthermore, upon examination it was found that whilst these traitors all had corupted geneseed, the uncorrupted dead brothers found on the battle barge all have working gene-seed to add.

    Tech-marine has begun the plans needed to orchestrate the construction of a new battle-barge. These plans wont become relevant for another 2 years.

    Apothecary will need 3 years to finish his constructions.

    2nd captain walks in, a limp is noticeable and his body seems broken.

    Apothecary: I assure you sir, in two years time you will feel like your old self again.

    2nd captain says nothing

    3rd captain: Well. I don't know about you guys but I believe that we need to get rid of our 4th captain.

    4th captain says nothing

    2nd captain says nothing

    3rd captain: Sir?

    Also, there is currently an empty chaos battle barge floating around incase you guys want to purge it forever or something. (There was 1 vote for keeping and 1 for getting rid of so I didn't expand on it)

    Also incase you didn't keep count 25 men of 2nd company are dead.

    Also for your convenience I did some rearranging of our force organization.

    1 librarian

    1 tech-marine
    1 apothecary, 243 battle brothers 24 of which are a sergeant in ranking and 7 are veterans.
    168 scouts, fifteen of which at least have the experience of a battle brother.

    The 4th Captain on the ship was a trick by Chaos, but the captain of the 2nd company was the one who talked to him the most and looked at the traitor, I wish the 2nd company captain choose the fate the 4th captain.

    It sounds like meta gaming but it is my understanding that after dealing with Chaos the chapter checks on the spiritual health of those who encountered it, because the Chaplain was there he himself would to be thought to be at risk as well, I want the priests that Chaplain has been training to check up on all the marines who went in with only the assistance of the Chaplain, the one guy noted to be touched by chaos to get no special treatment time of course in this. I will understand if you want to shoo this away.

    I want to put in the req for the grand temple that the Chaplain wanted from the start, it will be a good place for the priests taught by one of the Emperors chosen space marines to be centered at and will be a great symbol of hope for the planet after the this kind of threat.

    I want the PDF to get the req they need to get 400k more soldiers so that they can get the numbers they wanted.

    We have plenty of req but I don't know how much of those will cost each.

    Lastly I want a post card sent to the 1st Captain that just says "Wish you were here!" and it will have the Chaptermaster playing at the beach.

  9. That battle barge was a possible future. Remember? So while the 4th captain that turned to chaos is dead. The one that we had chilling at home while sh*t went down is still alive and well.

    Edit: As well as someone who found out that in a possible future they turned to chaos can be.

    Order to all the marine who boarded the battle barge to never speak on what is happened on the ship. Never think again never ask (provvide adeguate mental brain whashing). It was only a trick of chaos power, we never fight our own brothers they was demon with our shape.

    Put the 4th captain in a cell for examination and purification, double examine all the space marine and scout by the chaplain.

    Suggest the chaplain to give a purity seal for the second captain, and for the company standard of the second company. and give the second company a special name like "the uncorruptable" "defenders of purity" with a great cerimony on our world.

    So we have a battle barge from the future? and we have 2 power sword from the future?

    sent another team lead by the librarian for check the librarium for any record and investigate what happened (so we can decide on the faith of the 4th captain) and recovery any information. tell in secret to the librarian about the chaos lord weapon if is the possibile source of corruption, and if is do something to seal the weapon or purify it.

    Let the techmarine decide the faith of the corrupted battle barge, evaluate what is best to do.( don't want a chaos corrupted wreck orbiting on our planet maybe is better to use a self destruction comand if not a offence to the omnissiah)

    Give the second captain the honor of chose the new battle brother from the scout who show to be ready for recovery from the loses.(because the 4th captain cant') and nominate the new seargeant.
