If that's the way it's going to be... *Raven suddenly leaps from the ground and grabs Hand by the throat* *Fist staggers to his feet and swings a punch at Raven, who ducks. Fist clouts Hand in the chops* Hand: Agh! You're all traitors! *Smurf steps in, both hands raised placatingly* Smurf: Guys. Guys! Can't we all just get along?! Fist/Hand/Raven: No! Fixed it for you.
... War between the Space Marine chapters, while they are being ignorant to the outside causes. The Orks are chopping them up and taking their Dakka, Chaos is corrupting them at every step, telling them to further the fight, and Eldar, using this to their advantage to take Arkhona from Human, Ork, Necron, Tau and Dark Eldar hands.
... You just suggested outside problems interrupted a space marine honour duel. Dear god man, do you have no sense of self preservation!? What will happen is that we'll end up with the Eldar being used to club the Orks to death, take back their dakka, and then use their broken, bloodied corpses to drown Chaos. Don't question it, xenos have just gotten in the way of astartes settling a matter of honour, reality and sanity are staying the hell out of the way of whatever follows.
Oh, just imagine the battles between the poll, if we ever get it, with Grey Knights and Exorcists on it. That's when we REALLY have to step up our game to preserve our faction's sanity from the heretical hands of Chaos.
Can I just say I'm really sad that Sicarius wasn't named the Faction Leader of the Space Marines. That doesn't make me a Heretic, does it?
