I'd really rather the Chapters be kept at 5 without any new Chapter Skins. OH YEAH THAT ONE RAVEN GUARD THAT MANAGED TO GET HERE FIGHTING ON HIS OWN MAKES TOTAL SENSE RIGHT? Also why on earth would a someone from X Chapter be on the Ultramarine War Council.
there will be a faktion war council not subfaction war council but i agree i dont want simple reskins
Hmm nop I dont want an ultramarine with a cross on the shoulder. They dont deserve such honor. It seems you missunderstand me. I want a full skin to replace not parts of it. Lets say the skins could have their own stats like a pre chapter release instead of replacing the ultra marine skin. Not sure if im being clear enough. And ofc I would rather have a full chapter release. Just throwing some ideas and discussing not demanding anything. And not evn taking into consideration war councils and all that stuff. Chill dont take everything so seriously. For example the imp fists get release on the main 5 chapters they could release like successor chapters skins. Something like that.
Could you please provide a link? I think you guys are remissing the point here. Naturally when you have an idea, you don't limit you're thinking to "well concept x can only fit in this one specific way, because that's the ubereasy way to do it." There are always alternatives to having ideas or concepts implemented into a game. Just because you didn't think of it, doesn't mean there are no other possibilities of implementing it. And just because it's not easily thought of - on the flip of a coin - doesn't mean its an extraordinarily difficult task either. Not to mention it doesn't have to be a simple reskin, making it seem "cheap." There's more to it, like I said, a DLC or simply a variety of buffs/equipment/trinkets available that would make it much more than just a skin. Of course, I too (believe it or not) do not want everyone running around in totally different skins, or alone at all. Especially if he was a Black Templar. What Space Marine would go into the fray, to fight alone? Why would you have a whole line of completely different SM chapters, fighting alongside one another? You wouldn't, unless it was a Deathwatch killteam (which has its own colour scheme) or a very precarious combat situation that has brought them together. I've mentioned a point earlier, where you could have a specific catalogue available for when you choose a certain faction. That would solve one potential issue of the inherited traits being too far off. Another point is there could also be a system in place, that only lets you purchase a skin once you've joined a guild (since we know there won't be lone wolfs). Then it should be upon the guild permissions to permit or restrict such a possibility. It should also be upon guild leaders and avid 40k community fans, to inform one another on the sensibility of things. After-all, this is meant to be a game isn't it? Games are meant to be fun and its inevitable that there will be compromises made; either in terms of lore accuracy or other. In order to have a somewhat balanced game that every group can enjoy, not the select few elite. And that's not a crack at any group specifically, but that's how it would appear if Behaviour left all of the 'non-5chapter' players in the cold and dark.
I hear what you're saying but i'm not sure exactly how you're suggesting it. Do you mean that the game should be delayed further so that people will have the ability to get that DLC from the very beginning and apply it on one of the 5 beginning chapters? Cause if that's not the case and you mean that the DLC could be available in the progress of the game after the release, then i don't see how that's any different from adding new chapters the standard way. I mean... DLC or not, if you're talking about not just throwing in a simple skin change, that means that they would have to work on the new chapter's mechanics, abilities/skills etc apart from its appearance so it's basically the same thing with just waiting for patches or expansions or whatever that would include new chapters. The way i see it we have the ubereasy way of the colour change which personally i wouldn't like at all, or the proper way of actually working into this which would take some time to arrive after the game and personally i want to see that cause i'd have something to look forward into the game.
Shame on you Vespasian... Shame on you... Jokes aside I have mixed feelings on this matter. While I want a full fledge Launch of my favourite chapter I also want to start playing with them as soon as possible... Trying to get more into the Dark Angels and learned that they have small xeno squires... Well if you give me one of those to carry my helmet around... Maybe I will have a bit more patience...
If you mean the Watchers in the Dark they're so cool i'm gonna steal one as a Salamander (if they get added) and carry it around and pet it and stuff
