I think the raw stats play a huge part in things. Marks allow csm players to have lots of passive durability outside of an active deterant. Sure 1v1 most classes can kill if they know whats up but you start throwing the weight of numbers with players in an area AND passive stats and you can start to actively scew results. Even if it just becomes each guy takes one more melee hit to down or 5 extra bullets to kill it adds up to a pretty hefty sum over the course of a game. I don't really think chaos needs a nerf I just think other factions need their passive gameplay enhancers in. Orks don't really have one atm outside waaaggghhh which can come far too late to matter. Eldar actually do have theirs in the form of mobility and smaller hit boxes and we see they also perform well atm. Lsm dont really have theirs in yet as far as I can tell ( I don't play LSM nor will I ever but that doesnt mean they shouldnt have enjoyable gameplay) So all in all even a tiny boost can have drastic effects when players of equal skill clash.
Where do I say your are OP? But you have cool toys - that is visual effects, burning marks, sorcerer's aoe things, interesting armour - all those looks so beautiful in compare with dull SM platic armour. People love W40k for cosmetics - more cosmetics, more joy to play.
I personally believe that there will be a lot of improvements on the aesthetic level also at your side
I'm not sure I'd say Chaos players are 'better', but I do think that on a whole Chaos players display a bit more maturity. Also; Chaos players routinely tell each other which point is not just under attack, but which point is likely to come under attack within the next minute or so. While not a hard and fast rule, in my experience when playing on one of the stronghold maps, when I make a suggestion to stop spawning at point A but instead go to B to save A for emergencies, a few people listen. As a result, gasp, we even manage to win (sometimes).
You have an invulnerable shield that you basically need AV to penetrate! Also, Crozius Arcanum's are lethal
I think Chaos and Loyalists are balanced compared to each other. I'm not too sure about Orks but I think their Dbash's probably take just a little too long to get off. Having said that, I've had the easily the most fun as a simple Slugga boy running around with my choppa.
chaos is far stronger than loyalists chaos is even stronger than eldar tbh orcs and loyalists is underpowered loyalists more so than orcs even
