The nids can wipe worlds clean, if orks are dust the nids are the vacuum cleaner, and exterminatus is the dry cleaning expensive but gets it done.

Yea nids are not part of the milky way galaxy.
  2. Don't forget - orks are also the strongest psykers in the universe. Or, at least, have the strongest group psychic power in the universe.

... if only they realized it.
  3. Plague Malgaroth Cipher

Funny, but that's a theory toted along by Ork fanboys. I might point you towards a few descriptions of Alpha+ Grade Psykers that are human/astartes, much less real powerhouses like Ahriman or godforbid Eldrad.
  4. Well, I mean, there's some basis to this in how ork technology works when it really shouldn't, and the whole colour system working the way it does...
  5. Plague Malgaroth Cipher

That's a general latent psychic aura. The Waaagh! and whatnot, but not really powerful psykers as far as channeling it goes. When a legion of orks charge together they can put a bit of scrap metal on a red clip of ammo and have a rapid fire machine gun. But when Daemons walk the soil, up becomes down and rain becomes liquid sadness that stings when it touches your organs, which are now outside.
    Vox and DjemoSRB like this.

Damn...forgot about how much i love Chaos Spawn.
I wonder if they will get their debut in any way in the game, even if its a side effect of the Perils of the Warp the devs talked about. Imagine a Sorcerer overexerting himself only to devolve into a mindless spawn that starts murdering everything before succumbing to the rapid mutations and falling over as a bubbling husk of flesh.

  7. Would be nice if demonic gifts were granted upon players in game, the risk of getting the lovely demon buffs is that it could have a 20% chance to turn your character into a spawn. Permanently.

Stay within mortality, or unleash the chaotic nature of the warp mutations. Your call.
  8. Plague Malgaroth Cipher

20% is a huge percentage for permanent character death. All that's going to happen is it will make people reroll characters until they get a perfect Champion. I'd give you .5%, maybe 1%, which might increase with the more gifts you tack on. But otherwise playing Chaos is going to be a chore.
  9. Death?

    No, conversion.
You'd be exempt from any wargear, but would act as a faster, more melee focused unit.
More of a Rush Unit / Quick Attack.
  10. Still you're left with a strong possibility of permanently being stuck in mutated class, people will not enjoy a permanent consequence based on chance, it totally throws off progression. Perhaps a day or two of being spawned in as a spawn, so long as they can still fight decently, but even that is highly, highly questionable.
