i have to agree i don't think the poison is the issue .... other than when its can be un los held for so long. i think the issue us they have no fear of most other ranged weapons that should make them afraid to stand out there and throw sorcery with no cover. like the laughable heavy bolter that really needs some work.

Remember this is not the final incarnation of SoC while it has a long range and can be used to good effect due to lag this is currently one of the only true ranged options the AS has. When they have more options such as doom bolt this will be revisited and balanced better.
