After firmly crushing a planetary defense soldier under his maul Porbo turns to the Sorcerer. He walks up slowly and says nothing as the soldiers begin entrenching themselves in the old guard post. Porbo after looking over the haughty armored soldier nods and kneels slowly. He was not the perfect leader but he was an improvement, thought Porbo as he used his hammer to support himself on one knee. It always took time to earn Porbo's respect but he would do his job and protect this leader until a situation arose that deemed their parting necessary.

Now then, gather the warriors and prepare for battle. Our spies tell us that the Imperial commander has decided to grace us with his presence. He thinks to make us an example, but has foolishly decided to attack head on. Instead, he will be made the example.
  3. Name: Koron Chaos Space Marine
    Black Legion

War gear: Power sword (legion), bolt pistol and power armour.

    Alignment: Khorne

Skills & Talents: Identifying commanding figureheads in detail, exploiting tactical weaknesses to its fullest.

Personality: Koron cares little about achieving daemonhood or becoming a warlord of a chaos war band, all that he cares about is bringing down the Imperium through whatever means possible. In particular Koron has a particular hatred towards Commissars as he hunts down the one man who has never been removed from the activity duty roster of the administratum active service list. Ciaphas Cain. However Koron doesn't know that Cain is long dead for it is the 41st millennium and no man even as lucky as Cain can live forever. Once Koron realises this the swath of destruction that he would unleash in his fury would be devastating in particular to those who got in his way or helped hide the fact that Cain is dead. Koron will only accept the truth of Cains death upon "visiting" his grave.

Mission: Koron while aligned to Khorne is not entirely a mindless killing machine, he still represents interested parties of the black legion who wish to recruit strong and powerful warlords or even cleaver opportunists to further the cause of chaotic forces undivided. While Koron may be more of a representative at times to chaotic warbands, this doesn't always restrict him from getting to grips with the enemy up close and personal. Though this presents a lot of danger in itself, for many of the divided forces of chaos resent the black legion for its failures to bring down the Imperium for good and at often times Koron has to "deal" with these individuals who feel they must voice their own opinions. Despite Koron having his own plans to destroy the Imperium the opportunity to bring down high value targets is a chance Koron won't pass up lightly.

Last Known Location: Descending with the advance scout transports bring fresh supplies to the heretic infiltrators inside the Imperial city. Aircraft transport was spotted in flames half a click from the heretical groups last known location.

Porbo stood slowly and pointed with a long bandaged and scarred arm at another cultist, indicating who is in charge of the cultist. Porbo did little in the way of leading other than force men to fight who had the misfortune of being in his presence. Despite his intelligence Porbo had difficulty comprehending how delicate normal humans were and thought all should fight as he did. Porbo kept his eyes on the sorcerer and followed him slowly as he did with all his bosses, stay back and to the right of the armored man as he hoisted his hammer up onto his shoulder lazily, giving all the attending cultists a full view of his scarred, bandaged, and imposing figure. A few cultists made the wise decision to attend to duties not near him as he towered behind the sorcerer.

    Put it through.

Lieutenant Linious reporting. We have a confirmed heretical transport kill by one of our anti aircraft tanks. It crashed inside the city, and I will go out to investigate.

Very well. I am just a few clicks from the outposts. Be careful out there, and Emperor protect you Lieutenant.

And as well for you sir.

With fear in his heart, the lieutenant gathered three squads of Guardsman to search the landing sight. He has never seen a chaos space marine before in his life, and he has met the horrific tales of them as mere over exaggeration, hoping that they were not true. His hands were shaking at the thought of fighting one, and as he was arming himself, he was quivering and struggling to get his gear secured and fastened. Never before had he felt such fear. He has fought Orks and Eldar before but all paled in comparison to a fallen Astartes. Something deep inside him knew that this was most likely the end. he would never again see his friends, his family, or even his home. But the only thing that kept him from weeping was the stern reality that what he was doing, was for the Imperium, and its people. He was scared to die yes, but he would die in His service. A fate that all guardsman share. And with this in mind, he steadied himself. He regained his sense of duty and ordered three squads of guardsman into chimeras and set off to face whatever they were about to encounter.
  6. "Fools you're a disgrace to the Warmaster!" Koron pumped bolt round after bolt round into the backs of fleeing cultists as they fled from the wreckage of the transport. Half of them where aflame panic had engulfed their ranks and whatever coherent order they once had was shattered by sheer scale of the crash.

The resulting crash detonated half of the munitions creating a large explosion that echoed through-out the city. Any moment a response team of PDF or even guard forces would come and annihilate anything that remained of the crash. Worse Korons left leg was penetrated by a large jagged piece of metal creating a blood trail. While his larraman cells would normal clot the wound Koron remained ignorant of the jagged piece of metal until he reached a nearby ally way and removed it by brutally pulling it from his frame creating a gashing spout of blood for a moment until his larraman cells quickly clotted the wound. Despite the crash Koron was sure that he was nearby a local cult cell only afew blocks away. However his head was shaken he could be easily be stumbling upon a gang hivers den or worse a local militia garrison building.

Either way Koron left in a hurry leaving the blazing wreak of the cultists transport behind that had crashed on the edge of a park.
  7. Soon the Chimeras had reached the destination. Signs were apparent that whatever the cargo of the ship was, it was either scattered or destroyed. The guardsman surveyed the area and killed the surviving cultists that were too stupid to run.
A guardsman sargent came walking to the lieutenant to give his report.

Sir, our team has secured the area, whatever the cargo was, it looks to have been destroyed. All surviving heretics have been killed.

Not all Sargent. *The lieutenant points to a trail of blood going away from the crashsite* Apparently there was one fool that was smart enough to get away.

Well if it was one of the cultists, then he would not last an hour here.

And if it is not Sargent? We must be thorough. I will take the other two squads and investigate. I want you and your squad here incase any of the heretics decide to return.

    Aye sir.

*both men made the sign of the the Aquila to each other before returning to their duties*

Men, apparently we have a straggler that is lost in the city. They appear to be injured and must be apprehended immediately before they can link up with another group. But do not let your guard down. There is no telling what can happen.

    ***

Commander, ETA to the outpost is five minutes.

Alright, give me to a vox link to the rest of our force.
Men of the first mechanized infantry, as well as the 3rd tank battalion. This is Knight Commander Jeros. We will soon be engaging the Great Enemy. Their forces will most likely outnumber our own. But we must be victorious. Not for the data, not for reclaiming a lost holding. We fight this battle for hope. Hope that we will defend against the night, hope that our people will not be enslaved, hope that our deliverance will come. We do not just fight for the imperium here, we fight for our home, and our people. We fight to defend those we love, whether it be your families, your friends, and your comrades in arms. We will fight and die in their name. The Emperor is with us and we will be victorious. Let none stop the crusade for humanity. We are His hammer, and we shall overcome! Ave Imperator!

(things are starting to escalate really quickly!)

    *looks through the magnoculars*
Ahhh... so our enemy does come. And in great numbers as well. All this for hope? It is very amusing how they run about proclaiming about heroism, but the only thing that will await them is certain death. Brute! Tell our cultists that they are upon us, and the time to revel in the field of battle has come. Unchain our defilers. Soon they shall have the chance to have the greatest battle in their dull existence.

A low grumble is the only response heard from Porbo as he turns to the teeming groups of cultists. He grabs the nearest cultist by his hair and throws him hard over the cover before pointing at the guardsmen and allies in the distance. Porbo walks up in front of his boss and roars angrily before hoisting his maul over his head as the cultists fear his retribution if they did not obey. Porbo took no pleasure in killing, but if it ensured that his people would have a better existence in the future he would kill any who stood against him. He lifts one foot ad plants it heavily on the wall that was once an entrenched wall as he waits for the battle to commence, keeping back to defend this sorcerer.
  10. Koron quickly sprints across a busy cause-way crushing hover cars and killing the more determined motorists wishing to test their strength against an Adeptus Astartes. There was no obvious signs of a cult hide-out no run down dwellings, gang hivers or even any kind of a store front.

Only a fine appointed building that stood out from the others, it appeared to be a church from which the previous occupants had been evicted. It had a eight cogged symbol of the Adeptus mechanicus atop the arched entrance with a "Pending refurbishment by the Omnissiah will" parchment posted on the front of the door. It will do Koron thought.

The door was locked but with one swift movement, Koron kicked the door off its hinges and entered the musty arched hallway of the church. "Unknown occupant detected activating defence protocols" A servitor voice crocked, Koron raised his pistol attempting to get a fix on a target but the voice came from speakers inbuilt in the walls. As Koron scanned the room for a target his vision was able to adapt to the gloom and he picked out the silhouette of a battle servitor on tracks with two whirling heavy bolter guns, slung under the servitors arms. "Scans complete, Welcome brother". The servitors guns powered down and with a small sigh of relief Koron relax slightly but not before hearing raised voices coming from the direction of the cause-way he just crossed moments before.

It was then that a hidden passage way built at the base of the altar from which speakers give there sermons opened up. Weighing the risks Koron took his chance with the hidden passage way, which swiftly closed behind him just as a new set of armour plasta steel doors closed in place of the wooden one Koron kicked down with the same notice attached to the door.
