OOC: yes... I don't know, I was planning to get the comms array up and having Salamanders come in and save the day... for about 24 hours...
Porbo and Koron have just crossed paths in the underhive while adept presit magos Trieks fate has yet to be determined he may already be dead in the underhive or fighting off hordes of tyranid organisms. You may yet still have a chance to call upon them...for a threat greater then the Gk can handle will soon arise....
You didn't man, hes more or less up for grabs to be thrown into sub-plots or added onto a characters butcher bill. Either way his fate doesn't concern me at this time and even if it did whose to say his death would've stopped fulfilling his purpose? XD
(Close but not quite) The battle-fleets in orbit above Aurum 5 continued to battle ferociously as Choas and Imperium naval forces battled for air superiority over the other, there appeared to be no sign of either side giving way to the other despite the Imperiums overwhelming numbers the chaotic forces made up for this through brutal boarding actions and bold naval tactics employed by the Red Corsairs traitor legion. Torpedoes fired over large gulfs of space followed by the lances that flared against shield systems. One of the larger Impriums warships sported a frontal nova canon which fired nonstop into advancing chaos warships. One stray round which wandered far away from the naval engagement and towards the 2nd moon of Aurum, eventual impacting in the deepest meteor cratered trench that hit something far from mere space rock. It was black rock so well refined that its architecture seemed to radiate a sense of dread and despair upon those who would look upon its utterly alien design, only a portion of its structure emerged from the moons rock but it was monolithic in size judging by the sheer spaciousness of the hall that had been penetrated. A battle titan could easily fit within and still have room to spare for its comrades. Deeper within still was a circular chamber of obviously more royal significance to whatever xeno species used to walk the face of the galaxy before its extinction. A glowing green energy flickered within the center of the royal chamber as metallic humanoid creature bearing a green orb materialized and purposely placed the orb within a miniature pyramid structure representing a great dynasty's long gone kingdom. One by one the caskets surrounded in the circle light up one by one as green energy pulsed through-out the darkened structure.
OOC: God damn it... Necrons again... (lol I was recently in a RP with Necrons involved and things got out of hand quickly :3)
I'm putting the kaibosh on necrons this is becoming soulstorm 2 no necorns we keep with what eneimes we have for now I will allow a space marine company but that's it please let's keep things with a measure of control
(I was thinking more along the lines of a strike force to counter-act the grey knights but I see your point. There will be no flood of necrons to ruin this experience, they will remain in the shadows.....) As quickly as the process of reawakening had begun the green pulsing energy's begun to shut down and return to its dormant state. The monolithic structure that represented the necrotic dynasty flashed and ebbed with green energy's. Curious the metallic beings skeletal fingers danced across the sphere of the resurrection orb embedded within mini monolith structure. A series of runes and icon flashed before the necrons soul-less burning green eyes as it took in every detail. Images of the necron deities the C'tan flashed before its soul-less eyes, one of particular power of ruin death and destruction caught its interest as it resolved in the shape of a grim specter wielding a scythe in place of its left hand. Knowing better then to meddle in the affairs of the C'tan the necron removed the resurrection orb and stepped back into the center of the room vanishing as though nothing ever transpired in the necropolis. Following the sudden necrons disappearance there was a brief crackle of energy where the nova canon round had struck, concealing the breach in the tomb and resuming the deathly silence that covered the whole of Aurum 5's 2nd moon. The Necrons will not reclaim what was once theirs now, the Nightbringer would not have it not now......
