How much more can you nerf it? Give it 3 bolts of more resistance rather than present 5 or 4 ? (oh we can also additionally make it cost like 1000 instead of 700)
Raptor MoN is beast in comparison to all other melee right now but thats because we are the only faction with a loadout. I expect it will balance out when LSM JA have loadout items increasing power, jumps, etc. for example. Not to mention all the other classes, really is just that Chaos are the only ones with access to that slot which is pretty huge. This is probably also an example of what a mid-range player with some wargear to newbie's with no wargear will be like lol. RIP noobs lol.

That bothers me too. I'm hopeful the starting loadouts will be close to 'top tier', asymmetry and all. Getting more concerned by the day.
Actually yes, that is exactly what I did. In all my posts I mention this too... lol I just seem to be one of the few Chaos players not toeing the party line so I am mistakenly thought of as not being a Chaos player I guess? lol Edit again: That is I main chaos until Orks, then I am going to enjoy putting the hurt on all Space Marines...spikey or not....with my Stormboy and Mark of Gork lol
Yeah, balancing things with a non-complete broken faction is going to solve nothing. I would hold off on nerfing things for a bit. That said, I still don't understand why they allowed Chaos to equip the damn thing anyway when the other factions lack this ability. Even if it is worthless, it's just one more thing for people to gripe about. If it's just for testing I can agree with that. Now is as good of a time as any I guess. If you are going to have roll stomp balance, you might as well do it right.
Jet pack stuff needs to be slowed down to begin with there is no time to even bother to shoot them because they instantly close gaps, then they ignore defensive bashes and just stab you from behind. At the range where shuriken stuff can actually hurt things they can just swoop attack and be on you. It's not fair at all.
I really don't have a problem with Raptor with MoN. Sure it is kind of imbalanced because LSM don't have their equivalent yet but, thats just a matter of time. The reason the Raptor is a problem is that toughness combined with the horrible melee combined with lag/latency/stuttering/etc. It isn't that they are tough, it is that they are tough and when they attack you their speed and lag make it a complete gamble on if you can even clang or Dbash correctly. I don't really think the Raptor with a MoN should be nerfed, I think LSM need their equivalent and melee needs to be improved as well as stability in the game.
So what I'm getting it is horrible to not have a similar feature on one side but not the other... where the fuck does stormshield and such fall then? How come the space marines can get an exclusive shield and that's well and fine since they are cowards and all, but the second chaos has something they don't the forums explode into "FAVORITISM WE DON'T HAVE ONE WE NEED ONE".
