The Word of Chaos is a beautiful weight to bear, but with the might of Lorgar we carry it with ease! For our Father above all!
Emperor never considered Him to be a god. If anyone ever told He is a god it was none other than the bastard of a son Lorgar(a.k.a heretic). if you seek the truth this is the path i suggest that you take http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Imperial_Truth
Thread was Chaos God or Primarch. Since u didnt choose your primarch, other alternative is chaos god emperor, obviously
Eh, the Emperor declared himself a god in all but name. He wore all the trappings if a religion and declared his "Truths" to be the highest form of enlightenment. You had to have faith that he was always right, to put absolute trust in his word. Lorgar simply saw what he was doing for what it was, a godless faith under the Master of Mankind.
damn!!! i didn't saw that comin. i agree, but only to protect humanity from the evil in the warp that is chaos. it was a and necessary act in my opinion.and the imperial truth was none other than logic and science and not killing in some gods name.so making the emperor's truth the only truth the is a worth risk than leting chaos rise again to f***up the galaxy.but ofcourse that became his own damnation as Uriah Olathaire issuing the dire and prophetic warning to the Emperor to be aware that His subjects would start to see Him as a God if He deprived them of the benefits of religion.(this is where i agree with you).
Damn this is a hard question. As a Thousand Son, this makes the answer particularly hard. Not only do I have to choose between Tzeentch and Magnus, but also Magnus and Ahriman. Ultimately I do not see myself as a servant of Tzeentch, only possessor of his blessing. But between Magnus and Ahriman, I think I would go for Magnus if a started acting more like himself before the Heresy. Full of hope and ambition for a better tomorrow, not just filled with vengeance. But some vengeance would be nice, glassing Fenris like they did Prospero is a dream that fills me with hope. I imaging we still be traitors to the Imperium, but we fight to liberate humanity from its own ignorance. Too long have we been the playthings of Tzeentch, but I think now more then ever its possible for the Thousand Sons to become the masters of their own fate again. They simply must unite and fight for knowledge itself. Although that is a lot to ask for.
I hold no allegiance to any god or Primarch. I only serve imperium as it is envisioned by the emperor of mankind. Glory to the Wraith Wolfs, glory to the imperium of man.
Did you read the last installment of the Ahriman series? Magnus'character in 40k has been expanded on. Not quite old Magnus, but...
