Lol come on Apostle you know I love ya . But for one I am just not a fan of the Word Bearers I do not know why...although I do like how they corrupt entire worlds and I will admit Chaos would not be as strong as it is without the Word Bearers, so I respect them but would not want to play them myself (although depending on what the 5th Legion is I will probably play as them or Night Lords not sure yet).
First of all , you will never be half-worthy of being a Word Bearer , not in your imagination , not in your dreams. Second , if you are a World Eater fan and believe that there can be a worshiper of Khorne who will be happy to be a havoc and support his bros from afar , you might aswell believe they are drinking tea and play chess to hone their tactical skills.
Actually the only thing the Blood God looks down upon is using Psyker Abilites to kill your enemies, doesn't say anything about killing them with other weapons such as Bolters or Heavy Bolters, etc. Oh and btw I don't give a shit if I'm "worthy" or not to be a Word Bearer, if that's what I want to play then that's what I'm going to f*#^k*@g play.

Then to be clear are all Berzerkers melee cause if so then I have been WAY mistinformed.....and that would be thanks to GW >:/.
Yes zerkers are melee troops (they wear a pistol as well, but use it to bash your skull ). Btw melee is the whole point of being a berzerker - from the earliest times berserker was a guy who lost himself in the thrill of combat and rage, not caring for his own safety, he went headlong into enemy lines, to kill or be killed, and to revel in glorious slaughter.
Being a Tzeentch Cult Follower, I'm not 100% knowledgeable on the World Eaters, troops always have a bolt pistol and melee weapon, and cannot take a bolter or other weapon, characters however are a different story, and I believe they can take normal war gear for that character.
Ah I see, I had just never seen anything about their lore that stated they were just Melee troops however I apologize to those that I argued with, I'm man enough to admit I was wrong .
