As many accurately predicted on this forum, today's newsletter formally announced that the legions we'll have to choose from will be Black Legion, Iron Warriors, Word Bearers and Night Lords. Are we all excited or super excited? The bit of info from the newsletter I was happy to see was that Graham McNeill and Anthony Reynolds will help write the story for the game. Both are veteran Black Library authors, Reynolds having written the Word Bearers trilogy and Graham McNeill being the author of lots of books, including a personal favorite: Thousand Sons from the Horus Heresy series. Let the galaxy burn!

Now there's one thing I'm wondering, if the next button is Eldar Craftworlds, what is the extra button for? ?
The Word Bearer books are some of the best BL books and absolutely the best non-HH chaos POV books so yeah , its epic news. Im really interested on the Chosen class. I see he wears a power fist so im guessing he will have at least one melee spec. If thats true then we will be having three possible melee classes woooo!!
Damn, kind of dissapointed that there are no World Eaters :/, hopefully before launch they add in a couple more legions because honestly none of these four excite me (maybe Night Lords I guess but would rather play a legion that actually worship the Dark Gods instead of themselves) but nevertheless we have what we have for now.
There will be another inclusion for every faction , a subfaction voted by the community. World Eaters are very unlikely though. They are way too specialised mate , they only have berserkers Im guessing the last legion will be Alpha Legion. And about your wish about playing God-worshiping legions , both the word bearers and the black legion worship the Gods. A LOT.
Well first off F*&k the Black Legion, tired of them being the Chaos Poster Boy and hearing about how Abba dabba dabba Don is the coolest and blah blah blah. Second in where does it say in the World Eater's Lore that ALL of them are Berzerkers? All it says is that they shed blood and take skulls for Khorne, doesn't necessarily state that all of them are Berzerkers, even though I will admit that most of them probably are. Lastly Word bearers *long drawn out sigh* nough said.
