Yeah well, the idea is that every Chaos Gods acts simply by following their nature, which is their first\main emotions. They obviously have more than one emotion (that was just an example) but they will NEVER act against these emotions or do something completely unrelated to them. We will never see Nurgle chanting about hope and ambition and Slaanesh quite angry and frenzied at something\someone. The fact that they can't actually act outside their emotional spheres makes them completely immune to an alignment classification. Khorne doesn't give a crap about good or evil deeds, he just wants blood, war, slaughter and battle. Same with others, they do not show "compassion", or "love". One big example is Nurgle. He does care about his followers and he loves them, but not because he ACTUALLY loves them, but mainly because one of his emotions is exactly love. Everyone delights ironically and loves each other when in despair and agony. They're illogical, unreasonable, unexistant beings. They're Chaos.
A planet somewhere at the very edge of civilization, just barely in range of the Astronomican. The sky turns black as a storm of purple clouds begins to cover the sun, blocking off all natural light and silencing the planet, cutting off all vox coms. People watch in awe and eerie quiet, waiting for the inevitable, knowing their world is forsaken. The ambient contribution in this thread is definitely too low. On another very related note, if anybody would be able to direct a fellow heretic to an extraction of the Chaos Invasion DLC Ambient music for Space Marine - the music that plays during the chaos exterminatus missions - I would serve thee eternally.
