So the Orks made a thread about which Warboss would lead their WAAGGHH!! on Arkhona, so i decided i'd make a thread trying to discern which Chaos Lord would try to invade Arkhona. The questions i'm raising are: Who is he? What Legion does he hail from? and what has he done prior to the invasion of Arkhona?
Failbaddon. He was cruising past Arkhona when he ran out of gas, then when he landed to get some gas and Twix bars he saw all hell going down. So he called his homeboys to have one dope party on Arkhona. Perfect.
The Armless Wonder aside, it could very well be one (or multiple) Primarchs setting the operation up. From the official site: "The call from Arkhona was heard not only by the Imperium, but echoed through the halls of the daemons and sorcerers in the Warp. Even the fallen primarchs were roused from their bitter reveries, and they will not see Arkhona lost to them a second time."
A second time, eh? If the Primarchs are getting in on the action, this battle must be truly significant, those warriors only wake for the most important battles in the Galaxy
Don't think we should have a chaos lord when the game comes out we should battle it out to see who is the strongest
5 Legions having a party is pretty big tbh, so they have precedent to get off their lazy asses and actually do something for once. It begs the question though, if GW would allow it. Primarchs arent really some part of the IP you wanna play with lightly. Plus the game will bee canon to my knowledge, so i hope that some future Black Library book will write of my great deeds as im poking Lorgar with my Force staff in the buttocks.
I have no preferences, so long as the primarchs don't end up as static NPCs who stand in the base all day. That'd be depressing. I hope the reference to them waking up from their snooze just means they've all agreed that it's worth sending their Legions at the planet.
But many of them do stand around all day doing jack (well, jack in the Materium), it will be like a 100% replica of lore.
