Just a simple thread to gauge everyone's opinion on the current helmet model used for the Chaos Space Marines, specifically how the horns are positioned/look like. I know this may seem trivial to some but I believe it to be a huge part of the entire CSM aesthetic. Personally I'd much rather see the horns have an appearance more similar to the table top models, ie starting lower down on the helmet and generally being thicker/larger/more predominant. What do you guys think? Please feel free to leave any of your suggestions.
I think the horns are fine. However. Since I play Night Lords...WHERES MY BAT WINGS AT. I also think maybe you're going to be able to get different helmets as a customization option so you might see different horns.
I agree with your points on customisation but don't you think the default horns should look 'good' either way?
Lol, I don't know if you're just bringing it back to discuss, don't know the history behind it, do know and are attempting a call to action...or whatever else. It's kinda a known "issue", but if I had to pick between them adjusting the horns (seemingly easy, but I'm no designer) and adding content/ improving more mechanical things besides my horns, by all means I'll take the latter. Forget to say, but if they can and have free time, by all means, I'd like some more...chaotic horns, maybe DOWesque or the Daemon helm from SM.
My point: The current horns look like sausages jutting from the helmet. Behold: Making the adjustment on the model would probably take somewhere around 30mins or less?
I already have the biggest horn between my legs *puberty giggle.... I like the idea of some custom options for horns, but these are really my last worries
