Okay so i really want to talk about this... thing... called the "Challenge Token" that the devs are planning to add to the game, and hear the opinions of the community about it being added.

So basically what this item does, is nerf your survivability immensely while in return..... makes you look nice.... On the last Twitch Brent mentioned how everyone will know you are wearing it (so it will be represented cosmetically) and how it will up your "challenge". The thing is, you arent upping your challenge, you are upping your entire teams challenge without any input on their part on it.

Let me elaborate. This item would have its place in a single player game, where it would up your challenge and the only one suffering from your willingness to nerf yourself is you. However this is a team based game, and any self-nerf you impose on yourself is by extension a nerf to your entire team, a nerf that noone in your team can in any way protest. By adding this item to the game you are doing literally nothing to incentivize and encourage teamplay, on the contrary, you are hurting the teamplay. Id understand if you are hurting your durability to in turn do allot more damage, a player who is sure in his ability to dodge can help the team by being a DPS machine at the expense of durability by equipping that type of item. But this thing literally takes away your stats so you can look pretty, like i cant imagine how this fits in any conceivable way into a team based game.

Imagine for a moment if you will, a 15v15 match. Your side has like 7 "2 pro 4 u, elite no-scope 4 lyfe" individuals sporting this item just so they can feel LEET. I honestly would be pissed off to see that, cause i would know from the start that my team is fighting with one hand and leg tied behind our back, and the rest of us had no say in this.

If I run in my guild and we find our full stack facing down an entire army of hapless newcomers, I will beg my nobs to have us all put on the token.

It might actually make such games enjoyable for both sides.

As opposed to now, where I have taken to literally just run circles around LSM pugs (who, strangely enough, often opt to just instantly redeploy or drop a grenade at their feet) in order to accomplish any sort of amusement. Either that, or put on my Big Metal Bit Tank build and basically just sit in front of them, watching them waste their entire ammo.

Would there be any bonus for your team,or for you from wearing it?
Maybe it's an april's fool release.

I also don't see the point of that item. Specially not for the cost.

I guess it could be a pre-emptive April Fools joke (then again is February, thats hella pre-emptive...).

Still, in the case they are actually serious, i guess this is a pre-emptive "DONT DO THIS!".

I want it to increase experience gained when worn by 50% or more

Only then can my Fire Dragon embrace the full art of Jihad, I will be flying up the score boards, rocking in req for the req dump weapons and allow the other team to shut me down better, its a win win

On the off chance you are not joking, its still a individualist type of perk in a team based environment. Aka, you are not bringing anything to the team by chopping your own arms off.

You are already wasting a slot for an expe. boost so why the debuff? Beside the fact that you needlessly weaken your team.

True it doesn't help team play but a positive to a negative is better than only negatives, even if only I benefit

Fire Dragons cant take wargears boy, or armour or a decent pistol, perhaps a single trinket, that's the jihad way the perfect item with that 0lp cost

Will the effect transit to TAnks?

Will tanks look prettyer?»
Will tanks take 50% dmg? so you can bolter them down, or knife them.

I already look pretty, and don't need an item to say it....
