because you get xp again. i think is a bug but always happen. the final result is: killing a vehicle in melee is half the xp that killing at range (but only if you kill it slowly).
No you never blow up using Power Sword versus Rhino unless someone else shoots, nades or a Powerfist hits the vehicle as it's about to catch on fire. Using Power Sword it catches on fire, you step away, about 6 second later it explodes.
There is a special joy I feel as a devastator when I beat a chainsword (or any melee class). It is possible. Granted, you need to be a little lucky, and quick on the fingers, but it is quite possible.
Isn't it ironic that a chainsword which is noticeably heavier than a power sword swings faster than it?
