Second on chainsword being far superior to force sword and power sword at the moment. If anyone actually tries a match using chainsword then another using power sword and does better with power sword, id like to see it.

I've got no problem with chainsword being a little more maneuverable and quick, but the fact that it has zero disadvantages when up against a power/force sword irks me.

On the other hand, daggers can clang all day against an axe apparently so maybe theres bigger fish to fry XD

Yesterday I had a match (I really need to start remembering map names ffs) as attacker.
The defenders used about 4-5 raptors.
Equipped with chainswords.
That was a real massacre, most of them really knew how to use the jetpack (atleast it seemed that way).
Indoors it was hell, most of the time I got my arse handed to me (as HB devastator)
Don't think it's overpowering by much but when people know what their doing and some lag is involved.

That combo is deadly.

But at the end of the day, all good fun.

Yeah I mean a couple of overlapping devs in a long corridor or wide space should be able to take on some approaching raptors, but in a more confined space or one where the raptor approach is covered, the devs should be toast. A raptor is pretty much the hard counter to a dev

power sword win against chainsword in a clang battle. also power sword can damage vehicles and do more damage to SS but this stuff is extremely situational barely usefull.

Yea I know that it is meant to...whether it actually does is completely debatable from my experience. I'm not sure if its lag on my end down in Oz, but a straight clang battle rarely goes in my favor against the ever present chainswords I encounter. A duel practice arena would help a lot.

I do use my psword maybe once a battle to spend 30 sec taking a rhino down when no one is around, but as we get more players who have more of a clue this will become even less than a once a battle thing unless they up the damage a bit.

Don't you blow up WITH the rhino? (using powerswords)
Didn't try, but when I blow up rhinos as a Dev people tend to die in close proximity.

Only if you stick around for it to explode. Once you get the points for killing it, run away and it won't kill you.

Yup, if it's on fire get the hell away from it. They all explode and turn into a bent up husk. If you hit a burning vehicle you'll speed up the explosion part and that's what kills you.
