In all seriousness though, I doubt we can do the god-aligned legions. Thousand Sons could not roll any marks, except being able to use only Tzeentch on their Sorcerers. Emperor's Children would be barred from MoK. Death Guard would be locked into Nurgle only (and would be slow as hell), and World Eaters couldn't roll Sorcerers or MoT/MoS/probably MoN too.
Which is why these classes are going to be put in as independant "elites" not entire sub factions. All the cult marines will have limited loadouts that keep them in line with their lore.
What did the ghost say to the rubric marine? We are a couple of nobodies.. Badum tsh. I'm here all night.
yes please for all CSM cult troops a good compromise would be to make them similar to veteran classes with limited respawns so they can be used at the most critical of moments
All similarities, but just that. I actually have such a loadout myself, but mostly just for fun. The lifesteal really doesn't count for anything. It would be more effective to use the cheaper undivided wargear 1 slots. How they do something like a berzerker might be complex. As an elite, it should be more combat effective, but if they are to stay somewhat true to the tabletop then a berzerker isn't really any tougher than any other marine. He's just crazy and skilled in melee. The main thing I'd like to see on an elite berzerker class is for full combat effectiveness while bleeding out... so even though you're in bleedout, you can still run around and hit stuff. This would make them feel twice as hard to down, while not actually being any tougher than regular traitors. Combine it with Khornate lifesteal and allow them to revive themselves by melee'ing or something... so people are given incentive to jump into the fray. Fighting on the brink of death.
