Chain axes kill beautifully, how can you even blood for the blood God without one?? Seriously though I get way more kills with one of these than a PF - and guess which is getting buffed and which is getting nerfed!? You couldn't make it up!
Oh I use it alright just use my first more because most games we have a lack of AV on our team, or at least the games I join so I'm stuck hunting rinos because nobody wants to
In the latest Dev Stream they mentioned that they are going to be taking a serious look at power weapons vs chain weapons as it's become a major area of concern lately. Expect pretty solid changes over the next couple months.
Pass - I queried in game after using the chain axe for a few games and finding it more useful verse orks although it is possible they said armor instead if it wasn't toughness
Most ork sluggas roll 150 toughness.......which is the exact same as a chaos nurgle. The nobz can afford reaching 160 toughness. Every other ork class is somewhere between 130-150.
Chainaxe, Mark of Khorne and WB. Comes quite close to it (and Khorne Berserkers joined other legions too)
