Centered 3rd person camera please

    A simple thread for simple folk. I'm getting real tired of the camera always being over the right shoulder. It makes trying to fire through narrow openings very hard, or often times impossible. Peeking around cover to the right is easy, but peeking left exposed you before you can see your target.

    It's dumb and stupid and I hate it. The game would play so much better if the camera was centered right above the head. What do you guys think?

    Of the games that don't do over the shoulder, you lose some of that "tactical" feel. Not that this game is moving further and further away from that....

    Would also get rid of some confusion with the crosshairs not pointing at what you want to shoot at

    Yeah because what we got right now is obviously "over the shoulder." More like a cam aimed directly at the right arm to the center of the screen. Especially excruciating for Orks.

    But because I think they should do it properly and give us a 'shoulder swap' button like every other decent tactical TPS in the last forever.

    Surely just L-R mirror the current animations?

    Or do you mean for the actual switch?

    New animations are in no way required, just swap camera side, keep weapon on same shoulder. No need for an actual shoulder swap, a camera side swap would be enough for coming across corners. .
