Apologies are overused these days, especially by myself. Greetings, once more. It has been many a day, and many a solar cycle, but I am here.
And you are both welcome back! @DaKaptin ... so you're at sea ... try not to hoist the Jolly Roger, eh?
So wait, I understand that there is two time lines, but now there are a lot of people in the scene who weren't there before? I may be guilty of not reading posts that don't directly involve my character (only way I can separate IC and OOC knowledge).
In the old time line you have all been consolidated to the same bar, as it was that or leave two of you behind. In the present, a few days have passed and you are now close to your target planet and possible site of the Sword of Eldanesh. You have had time to do things in those days, but I was becoming concerned that the game would totally lose momentum if we did not move on soon (nothing to do with Zeth nagging me for combat @High_Adept_Zeth honest ). This seemed the best way to both move along and allow those that weren't able to post at the time to finish what they wanted to do I know you want to keep IC and OOC separate, and I respect that, but you will get lost as to the larger picture if you don't find a way to ... hmm. How to put this? make sure your guy is caught up, by all means by asking IC if necessary There isn't necessarily a linear plot, as I like to allow my players to influence what goes on. I understand that it is entirely correct and good roleplaying if Amriel doesn't know this However, since I also post general updates for the whole crew in other posts, if you only read your posts, you will miss those pieces of general IC knowledge that don't have specific names attached to them. I realise that you're not being an arse (quite the opposite in fact), but it is frustrating to have written a lot of material that isn't being read and is relevant. Could you at least check the other posts in case they do have general information in them? Would that work as a compromise?
Yep, I will do my best to read those posts in the future, and I am sorry for not doing so previously. I am currently in the process of packing and moving, but will do my best to get a post out in the next couple of days
Excellent! I am sure that will help Good luck with the move, I hope it all goes smoothly and swiftly for you
Just to let you know, with posts promised very soon from a couple of payers I am going to hold off a bit longer to let them post I have not forgotten you!
I love this idea. So very Eldar. I will aim to post tomorrow, as I am now in work 5 days and can't do the same late nights as I used to
*PUNT* GM post 6 days ago, two character posts since then, come on people, pick the speed up please! There is gentle speed, there is understanding, and there is needing a kick up the arse like Bishop Brennan. Of course I am aware that sometimes there are good reasons. But there is slow, and there is dead. I am worried that slow pace posting leads to even slower replies leads to ... oh, what game? I punt because I love. But I punt.
