You responded too late to properly influence anyone's actions, as they had already acted - most of them at least once - and I had already made a GM response before you posted. I could not go back in time and force them to all edit according to your post. I didn't really understand what you were trying to do here - so I tried to make the best of it and make what sense of it I could. We agreed that your power would do this: This is what we agreed. A steer. A nudge. Not control over people's feelings. THAT is why I wanted to tone it down. Also, you cannot use this retroactively - you need to post such a desired aim before the GM post and everyone else's actions, or how can you influence them? Morvan cannot fly - it looked like you said Morvan was flying. So I understood that as "very swift movement". You also cannot just blanket influence what everyone else feels whenever you like - I have to take into account other peoples' characters' free will. So I understood that - well, to be honest I wasn't sure what you wanted, so I went with a more general "bolstering morale" as why would Morvan want to make them feel revulsion? Calm the hell down. Insulting me is one thing I will not tolerate. If there is a problem, ask me. Do not fly off the handle here. I am not in the mood for being yelled at when YOU are not clear and YOU tread perilously close to god-modding. This is not like you. By the way, "rune-magic" is just me referring to the Eldar psychic powers, rather than, say, Chaos magic. Because they use runes.

The trait is listed in your public character sheet. It is not obvious to me how that power can do what those words suggested, no. is pretty insulting, yes? One can insult without swearing. If you had concerns, I was never too far away to ask. I said that we sort this out, or you leave. You choose to leave. That is a shame, but there it is. I am open to talking, but if that happens let it be away from this thread as this needs to be kept for the game in hand. I am not the sort of person to take out on a character what the player has done. I never will be. I may be a lot of things, but I am not spiteful. If you were using people as part of an academic study, it is usual practice to ask for permission. However, I will give this retroactively for my own posts. I can't make that decision for anyone else.
Ah come on Zeth. Just from the pure way you write it seems something more personal is going on rather than you actually wanting to leave. Can't you two just apologize for that it went too far? You two had been friends for too long to let this fallout happen. I see valid points in both of you, but don't let a small moment of opinion difference and going too far end a friendship that lasted years. I know you better than that, just like you had your fallout with @BadDo9 . Just you two go say sorry, hug and you know, cheer up. Seeing a friendship break that lasted so long and was rather adequate, filled with many shared interests is one thing. I don't care if it's selfish but you two are good friends and the heat of the moment is getting to you - both of you - and I can feel the sadness from more than just the two of you being involved.
